Pathetic.
No one cares if you think they are ugly because the people that got them and have them on their body don't think so.

Tattoos just mean your low class. Low class people are trash.

Its just the way it is. Even if i see a real doctor with visible tats, hes still low class in my eyes.

Graffiti is cool tho and i consider that a art when i see it. I dont look down on that.

For instance, a tall guy will likely never get a tat saying "I'm tall" because he knows it and so does everyone else.

So, signs of depression tats: Cheerful designs and cute things. You're trying to say "I'm happy" but if you were you wouldn't need to sell it like that.

Tough guys tats: They say that you're a coward or have lots of anxiety about being manly, and so on.

People who are actually tough are actually tough and don't think about it. People who know them know they're tough and so no tat is needed. Also, a truly mean people wouldn't want anyone knowing they are and wouldn't want to give it away.

Trying to find meaning in everything. I mean I'm sure alot of people do get tattoos for insecurities, especially the "tattoos should have meaning" people lol but to clump them all together or even the majority into that group is just narrow-minded
That is the science of the mind. And its more true than not.

All true. But the same can be said of BB, which too can be taken to extremes. One tattoo is one thing. The body covered in tattoos and there's some serious mental dysfunction going on.

Yea, sure some of them. But not all, and I would guess the majority are not.

I've never met a creative person - any kind of artist, designer, writer, etc. - that didn't have at least one tattoo. Any while they may have designed a tattoo themself, they often have a tattoo of some other artists' work that has influenced them.

The justification I don't understand is when people say "I just really liked the artwork, so I got it as a tattoo".

Do they not know what a painting is? a photograph? a poster? There's plenty of ways to immortalize art, so why place something that you think is important enough to keep around on a canvas that is subject to constant exposure to elements, and is always changing?

like, if you really thought a piece of art was cool, why not just buy a print of it that you can always look at from an ideal angle, and truly appreciate? As opposed to getting a back piece that you have to always look at with your neck twisted, or in a mirror.

That's why when people say "I really liked the artwork" or something along those lines, what I'm really hearing is "I really think people will like it"

Your logic is incredibly flawed. It may be visible for others, but it doesn't mean that it was done for others. For alot of people it serves as a reminder of something.

This. Professional MMA fighters have to be extremely tough, psychologically and physically, to endure their training and the dedication and pain it takes, and most of them have tattoos. Besides, I'd like to see someone say Brian Stann isn't tough just because of his chitty tribal tat.

I have no tattoos, but a lot of my friends from the Marine Corps have them extensively, and guess what? Its possible to get tattoos and not care what others think of them. Maybe you appreciate tattooing as art and want designs you consider beautiful on your body.

But I guess since that doesn't fit in to your worldview, it must be impossible.

Only time it might work is if he's with his 10 other tough guy tatted group and considering I know they're all scum who will jump in I might try to back out of the situation. Considering they usually do do it to copy their friends and form groups I suppose it works in those situations. But having those sorts of friends again makes it far more likely you'll end up in a fight due to any one of them getting into such a situation and forcing you into it. Most of the time tough guy tattooed men are just fighting other tough guy tattooed men, not normal people. And tattoos last forever, friends don't.
This entire posts solidifies that fact you are intimidated by guys with tattoos.

Reason being:
-You see them and are automatically getting ready to fight. Meaning you feel some sort of danger from them. Otherwise you wouldn't look twice nor be prepared to fight.

Sometimes tattoos have real meaning: a reminder of unity and comradery during tempestuous times. Other (often) times, they're just the result of following a trend.

i got them because i thought they would look cool as **** (srs) call me retarded low IQ but i dont see how people get so rustled about this when its not even their body, its like why even care

Most people get tattoos so they appear "edgy", "tough", "cool", "badass", so I would assume people who do get tattoos WANT you to be intimidated.

I don't buy the "maybe they just like the art?" bullchit lmao. Why not just have the art in your fukin house and call it a day.

Man, these fuks don't even scare me one bit. These mexicans are usually short, skinny fat, and can't fight worth of chit and depend on a knife or gun or their amigos.

I'll happily go 1v1 with one of those essays.
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

Never a fan of tattoos. Don't understand them.

Very few people do it out of personal enrichment, i.e for a death of someone, honor for someone, etc.

Most people do it because they think it looks cool or badass. For the most part, it screams insecurity (to me). The fact you need tattoos to validate something or to represent something....is pretty ridiculous.

BUT to each their own. Not saying everyone is like that. but most people do it because it looks cool and they think they are edgy.
