what i hate most about these girls on these apps is that they hate on guys who have selfies or mirror pics, but when you go through their profiles most of them have selfies or bikini pics showing their cheeky bikini's. They think somehow because they use a different method of showing off their bodies it's somehow okay, but mirror pics are considered cringy when their purpose is the same, which is to show off lol.

way more dudes than girls on there. Plus, any very attractive girl will have an absolute ton of matches for you to compete with. gotta have amazing text game or just be lucky to even get them out on a date, and that's given you have a good enough profile to get a match in the first place. It is so time consuming that I think it is actually probably less time consuming to approach irl, cause then you stand out from all the tinder guys and also meet the girls that don't use it. That has been my experience anyway.

before it used to be girls looking to hook-up/date

Then it got lots of media attention and lots of girls joined to see what all the fuss was, then got addicted to all the attention and getting to talk to chads, but these girls have no intention to meet, unless you happen to be a 10/10.

That's what you hate the most? I wouldn't like any mirror selfie pictures, either. The best picture would be from outside, maybe doing some activity, wearing regular clothes, relaxed, smiling and not trying to pose.
I have never tried tinder, and I'm not in the "demographics" obviously but I can't imagine why would I want to use it. Why do women use it? Do they wanna get laid? Wouldn't that put them in a bit weird predicament? I mean even if they find a boyfriend from there, wouldn't the boyfriend wonder what she was doing there?

It's started to creep into the real world as well. There's a Chad that lives near me, like a seriously good looking guy (no homo) and today I saw him walking by holding the hand of a 4/10 pig face - not even a decent body. Man it was worse for me, a year ago I wasnt getting chit, just bots. Had bad pics. Now that you can upload from the camera roll, I got my shirtless pictures, 2 of my best selfie and a couple of traveling pics and I get a couple of matches per day. The first day I signed up I got 10 matches

Other night in collegetown bars after not going out for awhile (aside from vacation)I was getting hit on left and right by prime pussy and took one back to my place. I think I like real life better. But If I had better pics on Tinder I'd do better I feel.

Shes kind of right, you have to "Sell a fantasy" to women on dating apps, a little bit in real life too. But yeah women having ONS pride is weird because it's easier to get sex even as an uggo chick.

If you are a loser guy, for the longest time you will watch the girl who you liked or thought liked you get devoured alive by uninhibited top 20% of guys. Sitting in the corner on your phone trying to look away. It's harder for us, thats why there is an "accomplishment" at first. We have to develop charm.

Whats fukked up is, a lot of chicks dont see regular to ugly guys as humans, just "worker bees" and only see the top 20%. Thats why they keep bringing up that double standard because it only affects them and the top 20% of dudes(the only dudes they see as men)

I would have to disagree, girls these days just want to pretend not to act like sloots so they don't have that as a label, but they can be just as whorish as men. if you think about how dating happened just couple of decades ago, there was a small pool of available men and women to choose from. Not necessarily super small, but scoped to real life interaction. ie lower relative competition.

But with online social media, suddenly the top 1% are in that pool. The pool is huge and all women want the outlier (naturally I don't really blame women for this part). I guess the reverse happens to an extent where men's standards go up, but men will be naturally less selective anyway so the impact is lower.

In summary, social media is amazing for the top tier guys. They have women on tap in rotation, all fighting for his commitment. I'm sure some guys on this forum fall in that category. Better than average ain't good enough. It sucks for any guy <8 or 9.
