I always thought that southern europeans(meditteraneans) were the betas. Whenever I'm there on holiday, they seem too kiss the feet of all women if they want to pick them up. Buying them drinks and roses etc. Generally being beta providers. But Swedes are beta in the fact that a lot of them are really scared of confontation, and afraid of sticking out from the group(by for example voicing a controversial opinion).

Plenty of scandinavian friends Danish, Norweigan, and even icelandic friends for gods sake who admit that swedes are the most beta out of them all. Funny as fuk when they do swedish impersonations its undeniable your language has a higher pitch

By that logic you'd be more safe as a woman in Brazil. The statistics show that more and more women are actually going to the police when being raped.
Think about it, how does the judicial system treat rape victims in a court? They try to question her background, question what they wear, how drunk they were etc. How the hell do you even want to go to court if you're the one being held on trial instead of the alleged rapist?

guys just lol

You're definition of the word Alpha is horrible to say the least... what do you consider alpha? A country thats killed and raped natives and made it their own? or a country with so many ganghoods you so afraid to step foot inb4 you get your ass handed to ya if not goodnight sweet prince? or a country that fights war against countries with less than half its capabilities?

and then you got the nerves to harass sweden and call it beta, when they have a history and culture that you can never match or ever be.

i dont blame any of you for the way you think as you had no part in it... but common it doesn't mean you have to gloat about how alpha you are when infact you are the last to talk about Alpha. Trump ain't winning the presidency... the president has been chosen way before this election and you will be left with Hillary... so if there's anyone who is cucked the most its our fellow Ameribrahs... So PLEASE go take ur country back and leave Sweden alone... you're government has already flattened enough cities around the world as it is and Sweden has been in peace for as long as ever

peace

Went to Sweden and had a great time with a Swedish friend there. I wouldn't necessarily say he's beta but he definitely believes in some stupid sh!t. That was a while ago. I don't know if I'll go back considering there is a lot more crime in the area that I visited because of the sand people

Doesn't matter if the average person disagrees with whats going on in your country, but it is obvious that the government in Sweden has sold out it's own country, and no one there does anything about it.

most miscers are delusional and get their info from alt-right youtubers or from other delusional miscers. In reality countries in northern europe are still flourishing and experience higher quality of life and are in general happier than Americans. feelsbadman.jpg

As a mediterranean living 2 years in stockholm i can say that the average swede will not:

- engage in migration/current affairs discussions

- tell you that you are wrong due to...

- approach a woman in a club/outside

- ask you if you want to hang out after work for a beer/coffee

* i hang out of a lot of swedes but keep the good ones close, other that we chill mostly us europeans, americans and aussies

Depends in what "scene" you hang. The generation of young people today can dish jokes out but they can't take them. They are raised to voice their opinions but can't accept that others have opinions as well. Generally, a bunch of cry babies, but I feel it's a generation issue rather than just being Swedish.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is not traditional Swedish culture being destroyed by a heavy push towards multiculturalism, immigration, frequent rape of Swedish women, etc.?

Yep.
Our third biggest city Malmo is basically a middle-eastern shet hole right now with gangs and shootings and burning cars. One of the worst cities in Western Europe next to Marseille in France. And with the recent influx our famous welfare system will colapse in the next decade or so

I've met a lot of swedes. Most of the younger generation seem furious about what two decades of loose immigration policies did to their country. Very intelligent people too, they are bilingual and speak english just as well as any American.

I'm guessing it's mostly the older generations of SJW swedes in power that ****ed things up.

This. My grandparents are from Sweden. Tells me all the time how hospitable and nice they are, but how nowadays they are being taken advantage of for it.

I am going to go with them in 2 years when they visit family again. The family moved farther north so shouldn't be as bad.

But sweden is full of men, not all beta pussies. They are letting their culture suffer and ruining their country though. Something needs to be done.

I'm a swedish man. Do I look like a beta male and dress like a puss?

Strong interpretation. I am Swedish by blood, not by citizenship. I speak very little Swedish, just phrases, songs my grandparents taught me.

We still practice all the Swedish cultural stuff here. I have not been to Sweden, but will visit family there in two years.

Up to you who you consider to be more swedish than the other, does citizenship or blood outweigh one or the other. I don't really care. Have some glogg and relax brah

Not even us who live in Sweden do the stupid Sma grodorna dance around the damn midsummer pole or dance around the Christmas tree like some idiot.
Or do you perhaps mean the Swedish culture of eating fermented herring on hard bread? You perhaps into dansbandsmusik?

I'm curious to find out what you mean because I have no idea.

My grandmother was a gourmet chef. Food is a part of culture is it not? It is one of the most iconic cultural things for any culture. So yes, we often eat herring, swedish meatballs, lingonberry jam, raggmunk, glogg, coffee and cake (way too much, they grew up on that) etc. For christmas we decorate our houses with swedish horses, tomte dolls, swedish flags, etc. my grandparents joke and sing the drinking song associated with glogg, used to joke and sing common songs in swedish for kids bouncing them on their leg, etc. They brought a lot of those basic customs here and still practice them because it was a big part of their life growing up.

So yes, we do follow a lot of swedish customs. No I am not 100% swedish. It is a big part of my mothers family who is 100% swedish, from Sweden.

I don't understand the hostility from Swedish brahs lol. Are you mad swedes moved to america and live here and still practice basic swedish customs? Am i not supposed to be proud of a big part of my heritage? Yea I don't live there, cool I am not a through and through Swedish man. You got me. I grew up with almost all the swedish customs.

I should just abandon all culture then. Hell you pussies over there are single handily allowing people to destroy any culture left. My grandparents make fun of the swedish culture nowadays, as well as her sister who still lives there. They used to leave their doors and house unlocked every day. Now they had to move and lock up. Everyone is too edgy now for anything. Sweet new generation of swedes and allowing them to ditch their rich culture.

You guys win. I'll take the L. I am not a citizen and was born in America. Forgot I can't have any pride in heritage of my ancestors.

I have a cousin who lives in Malmo(thats how you spell it??) anyways he has a job that he's suppose to play sports with refeguee kids. Apparently it is dangerous to go outside after night because of all the immigrants, a lot of crime and all the bad stuff has increased because of them.

People are giving you chit because a lot of Swedish people have this insecurity about Swedish culture being inferior to the rest of the world, we even have politicians saying Sweden has no culture etc. It's all part of PC scheme to supress the Swedish identity so we'll be more willing to accept all the rapefugees. Some aspects of it are silly (Sm grodorna midsummer dancing etc), but there's a lot of cool chit too.

I think it's great that you honor your Swedish heritage. What is considered Swedish culture abroad is something we often take for granted here and don't consider to be particularly Swedish among ourselves, since we're so used it.

If you like Swedish food you should check out two of the goats, creamed macaroni with meatballs or falukorv, and kroppkakor (Swedish potato dumplings with accessories).
Without the internet i feel like a small rock on the mountain.

I don't really want my posts on the internet tbh ... I'm just legit addicted to posting ... people become addicted to the internet look it up

Put it very well. The guy a couple comments above said I am less swedish than a turk that owns a shop down the street. Does he practice any custom of swedish culture? Does he even care about sweden besides a place to live? I only haven't gone because of money issues.

And it is sad that they are killing off their culture. sure the dancing was a bit much, but I actually think it's cool. All my polish friends do cultural dancing and have done it since they were kids. srs. Sweden is too edgy for anything now.

Look at the 1985 WSM where they competed in Sweden. I think that culture is long gone now.

And yes I have tried both of those dishes actually. The good thing about my grandmother being an ex gourmet chef is that now all she does is cook haha, especially swedish dishes. Went over to her house last week to have breakfast with her and my grandpa, she made swedish pancakes, lingonberry jam, and this stuff they drink once and a while called "fil." very odd thick drink. Almost like yogurt. Not bad with the lingonberry in it, just odd texture

And ofcourse coffee. My grandpa was saying everyone in the family would drink coffee all day. all swedes did. Said he would have 4-5 cups a day as a kid lmao

Chill. I was just curious if you actually did all those thing.

Judging by my own name you can tell I'm not an ethnic Swede either. I was born here, but both my parents are from Greece, but I do enjoy a lot of the Swedish customs. Not dancing around trees though. The food is awesome, I mean who doesn't like meatballs and lingonberry, Janssons frestelse or raggmunk and flask (my favourite)?

I think the "tolerance" of this country comes from not being in a war for over 200 years. A bit naive, I know, but who are we going to vote for? The Sweden Democrats?

Edit: Saw the coffee comment. My common-laws parents drink like maybe 4-5 pots a day. I drink 2 every morning but when visiting I end up drinking more like 5-6.
