Thats the thing. Poverty. Having nothing. It knows no colors. Thats why racism and these movements are ****ing stupid. Maybe we wouldnt have this problem if we focused more on fixing us in this country than worrying about the rest of the world. we are slowly killing ourselves. Detroit is just the perfect example of it.

This comes up consistently in arguments. Occasionally responsible individuals or parents will see that what is going on around them is garbage and leave, but for the most part people are content and in some cases even PROUD to live like that.

Sorry mate, the cause really isn't poverty. That's just a side-effect. Look at the history of Detroit.
I understand a lot of the history but you have to remember detroit hasnt been a thriving city in damn near 80 years. it was falling apart and 8 or so years ago it just hit rock bottom and hasnt recovered since.

you have a point. when was the last time in this ENTIRE WORLD has a country or state revitalized an area such as that. turned a burning rubbling city into a wonderful place ? I cant think of one. once they are reduced to trash, it stays trash.
