I agree with what you're saying about the Supreme Court. It's just already lost. The only thing that can be changed is by how much Trump loses. The larger the pool of 3rd party voters is the more incentive there is for republicans (or dems I guess but they seem to be going more the Bernie route) to alter their platform to appeal to them in the future. I'd rather see less focus on social issues and more focus on economics but even then the way things are now you couldn't have a republican president who would both regulate wall street and deregulate other industries or raise taxes on billionaires and lower them for the middle class and small business owners. Devolving into fans of a team instead of independent people trying to make the best possible decision is the worst thing that can happen in a democracy imo.

I won't argue that Trump is not a true conservative. If you ever want a true conservative to be elected again though, then you should be very concerned about Hillary's immigration policies and very enthusiastic about Trump's. That's another thing for the never Trump camp to consider. When millions of illegal immigrants are given citizenship by the Democrats, they'll be Democratic voters. The millions more that will be allowed and welcomed to come into our country over the next 4 years will only cement the position of leadership that the Democrats will be in.

That's the reality. Look at the statistics that people post talking about how Romney would have won in a landslide with 1980/1984 demographics, while Reagan would have been destroyed with 2008/2012 demographics. It's no joke. Conservatives will never be elected and our constitution will be destroyed if we allow millions of communists/socialists into our country.

I wish that were the case, but it aint. Push comes to shove, vast majority of law biding types who have families to feed and jobs to keep who could not afford to become felons due to owning X newly banned gun would turn them in. "Independent people" are the ones who are ensuring Trump's defeat. What do you mean "it's already lost"? It's only lost if the never Trumpers like you refuse to vote for reasons which I still cannot understand.

He is at 20% support from young people. The new generation doesn't want him. And if we make him the face of conservatism they won't want conservatism either and he will be the last Republican President.

I completely understand your reasoning as to why out of fear of Hillary you will vote for Trump. We just dont see it the same way. btw for everyone in the thread wondering why the court doesn't have term limits or why not this or that...its because the founders wrote the constitution for a nation that wasn't batchit insane.they cant save us from ourselves, and both trump and jezebel are reflections of how far gone we really are. nothing short of national repentance and mass christian revival will prevent judgment now.

I think thats a scare tactic. Obama didn't bring enough immigrants here to never have a Republican President again and neither will hill dog. Do they want too? Probably.
But come on you're arguning that Hillary is going to bus in millions of immigrants and drop them off at key states, give them citizenship and force them all to vote. And she's going to do this in 4 years...I don't buy it. This just sounds like a conspiracy theory

My state is going to him either way because most people think the same way you do. He will win some states by a little less than you would expect and that's about it. He didn't do enough to win independents and convert democrats to overcome the huge demographic disadvantage he has so voting for him is a lost cause as things are now. Might as well vote 3rd party and increase the pool of winnable voters for 2020 unless you really think Trump could be a good president and agree with the current direction of the party.

You called it a "gamble" to elect trump...yet you're willing to gamble that Hillary doesn't uphold her liberal policies because you "think" it's a scare tactic? There are already multiple states that were formerly red which are now tipping towards blue, and you're willing to gamble that these states are never red again?
