Just got mod negged for reporting this Samsung recall.

Reason: iPhones are for "teenaged girls"

BRB I guess only young women want good battery life, smooth OS, and seamless computer integration.

BRB "real men" like to tinker with endless/unnecesary options and settings like a retarded nerd. Rather spend more time playing with and customizing their layout than actually consuming content. (Thats not childish at all)

I "app and website race" others for their phones and have like 12 samsung notes and edges sitting in a box while my Iphone 5 still reigns champ.

This.

Apple products are so fragile. They don't care if they break. More revenue for them.

Apple 'innovates' by getting rid of the headphone jack. That is pure genius by the Apple fanboys.

No wireless charging. LOL

I support both iPhones and Android phones at work. I have to replace far more iPhones than I do Android phones due to fragility of the devices.

You do realize android is an operating system and a note 7 is just 1 of hundreds of phones manufactured by totally different companies that use said operating system?

2) Apple has recalled something as little as the power cube because something happened like once or twice. Even more conservative.

3) That laptop is from like 10+ years ago before the unibody era when battery tech/quality was still evolving.

We are talking about this happening today in 2016, on a phone. Laptops have much bigger batteries and commonly expand as a symptom when they die - for all brands, Apple isn't immune to this. But they don't explode, just expand.

In 2016 that rarely happens now. And especially not WITHIN THE FIRST FEW WEEKS.

It takes years for Li-iOn batteries in Laptops to expand. And the life of a battery is limited by advertisement. Not even Apple has alternatives to Lithium Ion technology.

Samsung S7 is something different, just bad engineering. Has nothing to do with the limitation of lithium based battery tech. Its just a bad manufacturing goof lol.

Bad comparison/bad analogy.

lol lol lol lol enjoy your 5.5 hour long battery life for the day on regular usage lmaoooooooooooo

Samsung is just faulty for rushing their development to the point of making mistakes just because they are so desperate to race with Apple which is pathetic.

And like I just said, Apples phones weren't bending. I had a release day iPhone 6+ and it was fine. 1 out of a million had that problem and it was because they were too aggressive or sat one their phone like an idiot. The Note bent just as easily and other phone even easier.

Thats because its out of warranty. Batteries are rated 5 years max and need to be replaced/serviced. Also it wasn't gonna explode, it just expands.

New phone is the most powerful processor and GPU in the history of mobile phones. Faster than most desktop computers from 5 years ago or more.

I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure. Enjoy your trash-ware OS and crappy battery life on screens that look blue and unbalanced.

Don't forget to restart your phone and power cycle it every day or two so it runs at normal speed. lol lol lol lilllll

Thats because they need to install Virus software and use up all the processing power since the OS is trash lolll. Not to mentions freezes and crashes. Bloatware.

It has two actually. thats 24 MP total.

(or if you werent a retard you would know overall camera tech is more vital to HQ quality photos and images than megapixels)

Does matter what MP your crap device has, its still not as good of a camera. iPhone literally has DSLR quality tech now.

Wut? Apple A10x chip waaaaayyyyy more advanced than crap-cores released by Android. To the point they are saying they might put them in MB Airs in the future.

"Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 7, its newest smartphone with a 14-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core 64-bit processor, 4GB RAM, a 12-megapixel camera, waterproofing, and wireless charging.

Spec wise, the Galaxy Note 7 seems to best the dual-core A9 processor and the 2GB RAM of the iPhone 6s, but based on a new speed test, it's clear raw hardware can't quite match superior hardware and software integration when it comes to real world usage.

In the performance comparison in which the two phones simultaneously launched the same apps, Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was thoroughly defeated by the iPhone 6s, despite the Note 7's cutting edge hardware and the fact that it's a year newer than Apple's latest iPhone. "

This is the old gen iPhone beating the newest gen Samsung. SUPER EMBARASINGGG

And the new iPhone 7 A10X chip is even twice as powerful as the 6S in the vid above!

Apple is wayyyy ahead.

Best processor
Best OS
Best camera
Best battery life
Best at not exploding in your hand

Best in the history all of mobile phones. Point. Blank. Period.
Lmao dude. Look how much you typed and how you went through every post to respond. Holy ****. You are the true apple cuck.

Samsung:
Battery has exploded on a few phones, recalls all phones, gives you a free replacement, and when the issues with the Note 7 are resolved let's you switch back to a new Note for free.

Apple:
Phone bends, don't put it in your back pocket.

Losing connection all the time, you're holding it wrong.

Battery explodes, it's not our fault, takes a class action lawsuit for them to rectify the issue.

this lmao.

samsung took immediate action to rectify the situation -- not to mention it was one of the two companies they have manufacturing batteries that are at fault.

^^ This. Keep buying your overpriced Apple gear. It's pretty clear that tech can (and in some cases, already has) exploded. Don't forget the good old exploding Sony laptops.

Both phones are basically top of the line, I'd be happy with either. This battery scandal will blow over in 2 months once replacements have been sent for the current run.

Honestly, in this day and age, I'm surprised anyone is loyal enough to one manufacturer that they'd defend them to the death online...

Being able to comfortably watch lectures on your giant note and surf the internet/use basically nearly any app simultaneously. Being able to take pictures of a page, convert it to text and then rearrange individual words/paragraph placement all within S note.
Lmao at iOS's stone age multitasking ability and only having split screen available on ipads/4 iphone apps. Lack of stylus. Not having a native image to text functions and being forced to use an inferior app instead.

Lmao at note 7 having oversaturated, barrel distortion camera of piss and crappy keyboard accuracy compared to the GOAT, smooth apple experience. Lmao at the poverty wait for apps while they hit app store first.

They are both best in class. The Android OS wastes energy because it needs higher specs to run the same speeds because of their crappy software.

So doing a variety of things, like opening apps, playing games, browsing the net and streaming music/video actually have different amounts of battery drain. Apple battery life is more consistent and efficient.

Its not a matter of setting them both side by side at half brightness and see how long they last. Its about actual real life usage and Apple OS is more efficient so the drain on the battery all specs being equal is significantly superior.

Battery tech is no longer evolving and there is a limit to how much mAh we can pack in the box. So everyone has the same limitation in logistical battery capacity. They all use the same ones. The difference is in the OS and hardware and how they utilize those battery limitations to maximum efficiency.

Yep. Apple detractors like to harp on about battery size/life, yet my 6s outperforms every samsung phone I've seen on a consistent basis.

But what iOS does burn through is data, or at least seems to use it inefficiently. Borrowed my bro's phone for a day and ran only one app on both for 2 hours, 11 mb gone vs 6 mb on my brother's note.

they might actually be forced to Kill the note line and just release the 8 next year.

why would I want to do multitasking on my phone?

More "poor people thoughts" from Android users...

I'm pretty sure I have a supercharged iPad Pro 13" that can do all of that and if I really need to do "work" I would never do it on my phone like some moron I would use my laptop which is also ultra portable and has Airplay for a 2nd display on my 130" screen.

Maybe different compressions for something. Would help to mention the app.

Also lol at not having unlimited data on AT&T or at least 30GB data.

lol that so many people feign expertise about a device they actually know very little about.

brb arguing about Whirlpool vs. Kenmore washing machines

Apple has been around since the dawn of personal computing and even then people were told to choose Mac vs. PC and some stereotypical users were drawn up on both sides. Apple is an OG legit technology company. Moreso than most/all other smartphone players in 2016, and that's just reality boyos. In the end which brand of device someone uses should be a non-issue for any tech competent user. It's like saying you'd never drive a HONDA because you're so used to BMW and the shifter and Navi on a HONDA just aren't for you... ok fine if you're buying, but maybe someone else likes a HONDA shifter. Who gives a chit? You can all drive around in KIA and love your KIA, it's all good. Arguing about this chit exemplifies your ignorance on the topic. Just buy the best phone FOR YOU each time you need one. ProTip: Don't buy a SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 7.

Also lol at not having unlimited data on AT&T or at least 30GB data.

How would you have to spend extra money? all your aux headphones work there is an adapter in the box.

Lol at not being able to afford some quality 30$ bluetooth headphones such as these

Rather take the chance of my phone blowing up in my pocket and burning my money then buying than doing so voluntarily by getting an I Phone.
The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

^^^Racist police officer who also cries about how racism doesn't exist, also cries reverse racism and typifies the stupidity of the racist right, referring to black people as "they" and regurgitating racist stereotypes.
