The ceiling is MUCH higher for Asian in Asia than the West in nearly all aspect from job opportunity, sport opportunities, dating option, general more respect, mental harmony and peace. Maybe for now, the average Asian in the West lives better than the average Asian in Asia but the gap is rapidly closing IMO

I live in the most populated asian american region in america and it's known to most of us that the girls that go for white dudes specifically are the more trashy self-hating girls that we find repelling. True story I'm actually highly considering going back to the motherland. I mentioned in my earlier front page post that I feel like a 10/10 Chang over there, because it's true, physically I'm top tier (equiv to 6'5 comparing to US avg) which is a nice blessing. And with my elite western education (T10 US school which is a very rare commodity there) and accent, even talking the native language I'm seen as "high class" automatically. What this means is that I could have better opportunity to great jobs that pay $$$ (equivalent or alot more to what I make in West). Could date within the 1% over there, which those princesses have servants and drivers and bodyguards and chit lol. Not a bad life IFF you have the money, and I'd have the advantage in building that wealth..... Mapping out my plan now, could be next 2-4yrs out. I'll try it for 2yrs and see where I'm at. Looking at finance and consulting jobs. Lots of first generation kids are doing this btw. "Boomerang" kids.

Could invest and/or start a business easily as a dual citizen. Take a successful business model here and take it to Asia, where emerging middle class is booming. Warren Buffett said himself the opportunities these days are in emerging sectors in Asia and S. America.

But again back to OP. Love being Asian American in the US in 2016 srs. We don't deal with the racial bullchit from any side. It's awesome.

No that's what I'm saying, my motherland may be better for me opportunity-wise (and lifestyle) compared to West. I'm highly considering the move in the next few years, currently finishing grad school in States. Although consider:

-I am first gen so I'm used to the culture in my area of US. I mentioned already that I am fairly happy all considering and don't feel a disadvantage. I like being Asian American srs.

-Parents are from a poor SE country. I want to keep my comfortable western lifestyle. So I'd either need a job assignment or remote work that pays USD, or a high paying job with equivalent conversion rate, or start a business/successful online blog/venture. All of which I'm looking into but by far the rate limiting step because of how difficult it is to find or achieve. I have a great career in the US but can't just transfer to motherland and expect same salary. Asia is still a developing area so unless it's Hong Kong or Signalore I'm moving to (it's not), there won't be too many high paying jobs. I'd just have an advantage to those jobs, if I can find them. Likely in business/banking/consulting.
