I'd listen to somebody like Keanu Reeves.
He lives in a small flat/apartment and takes the subway.

I'm sure he is doing a lot less damage than Leo

Typical Hollywood hypocritical cuck. He tries to lecture us on protecting the environment like he has some moral high ground. But has no problem killing a bear or scaming people out of millions in stocks while he sniffs ******* off midget hookers.

always surprised by how retarded miscers are to actually believe that humansaren'tcausing climate change

brb 88% of the American Association for the Advancement of Science believes that 1. climate change is real and 2. humans cause it

I remember that!

I also remember in the 1970s, yes the Seventies, when it was predicted we were heading into an ice age and that we would run out of oil by the mid 1990s.

One more little fact.
The Vikings colonized Greenland in the 900s.
They grew grain and had cows etc.
The climate was warmer there then than it is now without fossil fuels being burned as today.

How can it be?

The earth entered an mini Ice Age in the 1300s.
It lasted until around 1850.
So we are naturally warming again.

Watched it last night. There were cliffs at the end basically saying it'll be small changes everyone makes that saves the world.

-Change your light bulbs
-Eat less beef, preferably less animal products altogether
-Some other stuff

There was no mention that our defense systems and military vehicles all run on petroleum, he outright tells someone he's interviewing from India that America will not change it's lifestyle, and shows clips from him meeting Al Gore 16 years ago and the advice was the samething, (lightbulbs and stop driving).

Basically, its 90 minutes of hey look things are different and ice is melting, Republicans are evil because there's some that believe in natural climate change and human accelerated climate change and there's not a lot of proof of the later causing doomsday results (a lot of select clipped out of context interviews here), oh but brb coal is still cheaper so the world isn't going to change.

I believe if someone came forward with a plan that allows a 1:1 conversion of our defense vehicles to not use petroleum, there would be very little opposition. Yet countries that are rich in coal will not switch. India still has like 40% of it's population without utilities and they're still dumping raw waste into the Ganges.

So MIT professor Lindzen is "braindead, autistic" and "retarded"? Just like Dyson, Giaever and the 1000s of other Professors, nasa scientists and nobel lureates?

(Protip: Ethanol is actually chit for fuel, only reason it's forced into fuel is to subsidize corn farming, it absorbs water from the air, which naturally is not idea for a fuel combustion system. It's why ethanol isn't in jet fuels or any other critical systems)

Also on Lindzen. Lindzen is not a denier, you do realize that right? He is just a massive skeptic on how the information is being interpreted.

"According to an April 30, 2012 New York Times article,[68] "Dr. Lindzen accepts the elementary tenets of climate science. He agrees that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, calling people who dispute that point "nutty." He agrees that the level of it is rising because of human activity and that this should warm the climate." He also believes that decreasing tropical cirrus clouds in a warmer world will allow more longwave radiation to escape the atmosphere, counteracting the warming.[68] Lindzen first published this "iris" theory in 2001,[9] and offered more support in a 2009 paper.[51]"

You realize that didn't answer chit right? We still don't know how much CO2 the ocean can absorb.

Cold water absorbs carbon dioxide quicker, absolutely earth shattering information there.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

You got people like this around you? Country’s full of ’em now. People walkin’ around all day long every minute of the day, worried about everything. Worried about the air, worried about the water, worried about the soil. Worried about insecticides, pesticides, food additives, carcinogens, worried about radon gas, worried about asbestos, worried about saving endangered species.

Lemme tell ya bout endangered species, awright? Saving endangered species is just one more arrogant attempt by humans to control Nature. It’s arrogant meddling. It’s what got us in trouble in the first place. Doesn’t anybody understand that? Interfering with Nature. Over 90 percent, over, way over 90 percent, of the species that have ever lived on this planet, ever lived, are gone. Wooosh! They’re extinct. We didn’t kill them all. They just disappeared. That’s what nature does. They disappear these days at the rate of 25 a day—and I mean regardless of our behavior. Irrespective of how we act on this planet, 25 species that were here today will be gone tomorrow. Let them go gracefully. Leave Nature alone. Haven’t we done enough? We’re so self-important, so self-important. Everybody’s gonna save something now. Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save those snails. And the greatest arrogance of all, save the planet. What? Are these fu*king people kidding me? Save the planet? We don’t even know how to take care of ourselves yet. We haven’t learned to care for one another—we’re gonna save the fu*kin’ planet? I’m gettin’ tired of that sh*t. Tired of that sh*t. Tired.

I’m tired of fu*kin’ Earth Day, I’m tired of these self-righteous environmentalists, these white bourgeois liberals who think the only thing wrong with this country is there aren’t enough bicycle paths. People trying to make the world safe for their Volvos. Besides, environmentalist don’t give a sh*t about the planet, they don’t care about the planet, not in the abstract they don’t, not in the abstract they don’t. You know what they’re interested in? A clean place to live. Their own habitat. They’re worried that someday in the future they might be personally inconvenienced. Narrow, unenlightened self-interest doesn’t impress me. Besides, there is nothing wrong with the planet, nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine. The people are fu*ked. Difference. Difference. The planet is fine. Compared to the people, the planet is doin’ great! It’s been here four and a half billion years. Did you ever think about the arithmetic? The planet has been here four and a half billion years. We’ve been here, what? A hundred thousand? Maybe two hundred thousand and we’ve only been engaged in heavy industry for a little over two hundred years. Two hundred years versus four and a half billion. And we have the conceit to think that somehow we’re a threat? That somehow we’re gonna put in jeopardy this beautiful little blue-green ball that’s just a floatin’ around the sun? The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through all kinds of things worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sunspots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles, hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids, and meteors, world-wide floods, tidal waves, world-wide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages, and we think some plastic bags and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference?

The planet isn’t going anywhere. We are! We’re goin’ away. Pack your sh*t, folks, we’re goin’ away. We won’t leave much of a trace either, thank god for that. Maybe a little styrofoam, maybe, little styrofoam. Planet will be here and we’ll be long gone. Just another failed mutation. Just another closed-end biological mistake, an evolutionary cul de sac. The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas, a surface nuisance. You wanna know how the planet’s doin’? Ask those people at Pompeii, who were frozen into position from volcanic ash. How the planet’s doin’. Wanna know if the planet’s alright, ask those people in Mexico City or Armenia, or a hundred other places buried under thousands of tons of earthquake rubble if they feel like a threat to the planet this week. How about those people in Kilauea, Hawaii who built their homes right next to an active volcano and then wonder why they have lava in the living room. The planet will be here for a long, long, long time after we’re gone and it will heal itself, it will cleanse itself ’cuz that’s what it does. It’s a self-correcting system. The air and the water will recover, the earth will be renewed, and if it’s true that plastic is not degradable well, the planet will simply incorporate plastic into a new paradigm: the earth plus plastic. The earth doesn’t share our prejudice towards plastic. Plastic came out of the earth. The earth probably sees plastic as just another one of its children. Could be the only reason the earth allows us to be spawned from it in the first place: it wanted plastic for itself. Didn’t know how to make it, needed us. Could be the answer to our age-old philosophical question, “Why are we here?” “Plastic, a$$holes.”

So, so, the plastic is here, our job is done, we can be phased out now. And I think that’s really started already, don’t you? I mean, to be fair, the planet probably sees us as a mild threat, something to be dealt with, but I’m sure the planet will defend itself in the manner of a large organism like a bee hive or an ant colony can muster a defense. I’m sure the planet will think of something. What would you do, if you were the planet trying to defend against this pesky, troublesome species? Let’s see, what might, viruses, viruses might be good, they seem vulnerable to viruses. And, viruses are tricky, always mutating and forming new strains whenever a vaccine is developed. Perhaps this first virus could be one that compromises the immune system in these creatures. Perhaps a human immuno deficiency virus making them vulnerable to all sorts of other diseases and infections that might come along, and maybe it could be spread sexually, making them a little reluctant to engage in the act of reproduction.

CO2 is good.
The plants love it.
It feeds the plants.
Plants take it in and give off oxygen and we breath that in and exhale carbon dioxide.

Isn't nature great?

But then I knew that in grade school many decades ago.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Why would I listen to anactor about climate change? WTF is wrong with people.

Reminds me of Ben Affleck arguing with Sam Harris about Islam.

Man, I watched it yesterday and it was really really impactful.

I think it's great what Tesia is doing and I wish more company's would get on board with this.

It's insane how a country and world leader like the US is far behind when it comes to things like this. If Sweden can be 100% renewable, the US should make the effort for it.

Higher carbon taxes. Higher incentives for companies to go green, and pressure to automotive companies to convert to electric.

I am not a climate change denier, as I believe it is a real occurrence, but almost everyone wants someone else to make the sacrifices of living greener. Wonder if Leonardo will stop flying around the world now, change in his luxury car for a prius, and sell his mansion for a tiny home.
He's been in this movement for like 20 years..

Finally a good acting job from him. Kind of the same in every movie.

Anyone who denies man-made climate change probably has an IQ less than 100. Research geoengineering, dying of trees worldwide, jet spraying, methane produced by cattle, etcetera. Research petroleum history, the suppression of the electric and ethanol engines.

It's not the planet that will end, it's the human population. The earth will recover after we are long gone.

And lol at anyone who calls Leo a hypocrite, most of you would be living the exact same lifestyles if you had the same wealth.
It's consistency. It's like building a house. Everyday I'm putting a brick on my wall.
