The kind of reverse logic that's too common these days.
6'3" 247lbs

Lose = Be careful not to lose that.
Loose = The bolts are loose.
There = She is there now.
Their = They have their things.
They're = They're going to the mall.
To = They came to the house.
Too = That's too bad.
Two = 2.
Your = Your dinner is ready.
You're = If you're 150lbs you better have a 6 pack.

To some, struggling is working at pizza hut to make ends meet. Especially in a bad neighborhood where your well being is threatened.

To others, "struggling" is sticking guns in people's faces demanding cash then laughing it off with your buddies afterwards.

This family deserves zero empathy. To expect others to know your son isn't gonna pull that trigger because "he a good boy"...

At some point the delusion becomes dishonesty.

Exactly. This is why I cannot stand the people that always blame the true victim of a crime and defend the perpetrator no matter the circumstance and it usually tends to be liberals more often than not

inb4 parents should have moved. How? They can't afford it.
inb4 child should have known better. How? Their peers are interested in crime, and so are the parents. Peers are a very important agent of socialization.
inb4 he should have gotten a better job by working harder. Plenty of life constraints prevent people from taking on higher positions. And hard work does not always equal success.
You are what's wrong with society, always trying to muddle perfectly simple issues with bleeding heart bull****.

If he couldn't get a job that paid enough to support kids, he shouldn't have had kids. That's his fault. Yes. Yes it is. If you can't afford kids, don't have kids.

I'm not sure how to respond to this? Coporations specifically state that in an attempted robbery, you are to do nothing besides give in to demands.

You are not entitled to your second amendment right on private property.

These thought processes are the result of undergoing employee training, something all employees go through.

A conversation piece? No. Saying, "Hi, I would like to order a pizza." is a conversation piece used to necessitate interaction between two parties. Waving a gun at someone is threatening their life. How about, instead of demanding money at gun point and breaking the law, the decease should have simply found a legal way of procuring whatever his daughter needed. Either through hard work of bettering himself and his life situation.

News flash: Robbing a pizza hut doesn't lift you out of poverty either, but it can get you killed. Using food stamps at your local grocers doesn't. Using food stamps DOES get you food that his daughter may have needed.

Anyway, I feel I fed the troll well enough, and a good distraction until my lunch hour. It is now my lunch hour, so... LDAR.....

How about a little common sense Misc?

The woman just lost her son, they say thats the biggest emotional pain a human being can go trough. You expect her to go on the news and say "yeah he deserved it, my son shouldnt be out there threatening other people's lives".

No dumbfuks, she's in shock, she is in denial, her son just died and she will blame everyone but him. That other kid shouldnt have had a gun either, so of course she's gonna blame him before his own dead son.

Give her a break FFS.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Here is the simple fact of the matte
Anyone that is robbing with a gun knows the risk they are taking.
This 29 year old knew the risk, he was not a developing mind he was an adult.

He knew the risk, he took the risk, he lost.
Sympathy for the family is appropriate. Their son went down a bad path and lost his life, no parent should have to bury their child.

Still the fact is that the robber was not wronged in any way. Nobody tricked him. Nobody engaged him when he was minding his own business. He made an informed decision and it was a poor one.

What about the poor sex education?
Plenty of us have had unprotected sex before the age of 18. Are you saying everybody should abstain from sex until they're old enough to have children? Mistakes happen, and people have a lapse in judgement. Everybody on this forum has hit it raw in high school. The difference is that they were lucky, and feel that they can now point fingers at those who were unlucky. Be real, and open your mind. Understand that most situations aren't cut and dry, and numerous issues, like social and educational issues, play a part.
