If he'd lived and went to court he wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

I wonder if his favorite movie is footloose?

Was it the first guy or the second or both? Anyway, it just looks like a flesh wound, they should be fine.

That's because that's on an enclosed course and their aren't guard rails. The guard rail is what decapitated and ripped his legs off.

Everyone in the comments is saying one of the crashes was so violent that the person's body was completely mutilated and that the person had been decapitated, they found his head yards away from his torso.

I think that happened to the first guy that caused the second guy to crash, I was told they both died. Too lazy to check news sources and articles though, I'll just believe 'em

The leg is from a different video. In the video where the gopro survived the 1st rider hit a car from the rear and another rider crashed into him. The leg video is a guy who slammed into a truck head-on at 180.

Pretty tame, much worse on LL.

When you come off on a circuit, you don't hit crash barriers mounted on steel girders which act like a blade, you hit tyres, grass or gravel, all of which can still kill but less likely to maim.

Pretty much this, those beams are way too thin. If a motorcyclist hits that thing at a high enough speed he's gonna get chopped up into pieces, as we've seen. Even to drivers it's still dangerous, I don't know why they don't cover the beams with plating or something so you aren't running into a giant blade if you lose control of your vehicle.

Ah...that could be it. So what's the official word on the death count - was it one (the first guy) or both of those bikers (both the first & "go pro" guy)? ITT, there still seems to be some confusion with that as well as in the L.Leak comment section.

The leathers are also usually much thicker. Gloves protect hands from blunt trauma and keep your wrists braced.

tl;dr motorcycle equipment makes a massive difference, and the higher the quality the more of a difference it will make.

People have walked away from 200kmph crashes totally fine, and I think 300kmph crashes with just some minor bruising
In racing series like MotoGP, there's huge run off areas and sand/gravel traps that allow the rider to slide or tumble to a relatively safe stop after they crash out of a race. Those areas surrounding the track are typically free and clear of any obstacles that they can crash into. Also when tracks are designed they expand those run off areas in places where a rider is more likely to crash.

On the street there's no run off areas, it doesn't matter what sort of armor you're wearing if you hit a pole or a guardrail you're finished.

fuk that, only time I've gone 256kph was when the highway was as empty as the eye can see and only did it for like 2 seconds to see how it felt and immediately went back down to 140kph.

This isn't as bad as that Mexican cartel clip where they used a box cutter to slice a guys face off, then his head.... somehow they kept sawing at his spine and got through it. Apparently they said the spinal cord had the same texture as tooth paste when it all opened up

Awful videos. :/ I thought I saw one mangled body, not two. Assuming both perished...Sad knowing the last gruesome moments of someone's loved ones are on camera. I always wonder why they allow them to go so fast (not the law, the ability of the bike)

Perhaps this will stop someone from being stupid.
