The misc is already dead

I got banned a month ago for something that should actually be encouraged on the misc:

"themisc" snapchatter posted pics of him getting blown by some big titted chick.

I knew who that girl was cuz she is a trashy IG sloot.

Posted pics from her IG and ******** as proof that it was her.

Fukking banned for using detective skills for good. She is actively trying to be a social media fame sloot so I felt it was acceptable to post her social media.

That's when I realized the misc is dead.

The exercise/workout program part is even worse because their equivalent of read the stickies is "you should stick to an officially recognised program developed by a professional", on the basis that some self promoter with a book to sell has some magic trick. Anyone who actually wants to have a fun and informative chat with like minded people about diet or exercise theories or experiences is actually better off going the Misc, where lively conversations about eating and lifting topics are actually possible.
This is what makes the misc special. We're such chit posters that we question everything. Wasn't there like a 5 page thread about a guy feeling bench press in his lats a week ago? It's the last holdout of anecdotal evidence and talking things out on the internet.

And lol @ the greens saying the rep system is killing this place. I'm mod negged to oblivion and still actively post. I'm here for the content.

Great insight.

The whole Bodyspace thing annoys me, I can't change my profile pic when I used to rotate it every couple of weeks. It really used to be a great little section with bodygroups and the friends/following features. Not to mention the tracking features which are pretty valuable for people with actual goals. There was no explanation that I have seen of why the height/weight stats as well as bodypoints just disappeared one day, I bet the Mods don't even know why.

I hope among the 90 emails that went out, a bunch went to the developers behind these "improvements."
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Thinking about this more, it is the same as if your product was Men's Fitness or Women's Fitness, and each edition you had cover articles all "Build Massive Arms" or "Diet Tips for Sustainable Weight Loss", then when people flip to the article it says "See edition #1 of our magazine, in which this was all explained". Arguably that would be true/honest, but it's a ridiculous state of affairs if you think you are selling content.

It's their poverty forum format. Instead of listing posts by chronological order and replies with quote bubbles they have this weird system instead. It makes look at it incredibly annoying to me. I tried to give reddit a chance but that place is unusable imo. Especially since they seem to mass neg anyone who disagrees with the popular opinion so it gets buried.

If you brahs ever walked by Amazon at lunch time you'd never buy a thing from them again. You will literally not see one white brah. It looks like Mumbai at rush hour. Fuark that place. I go Ebay which is usually cheaper and never charges tax or Jet is starting to have better pricing than Cuckazon.

the supplement industry is going through some tough times. To much competition and bigger players have started to enter protein markets as fitness becomes more mainstream. This is one of the reasons why whey is expensive compared to 5-10 years ago. Sports nutrition isn't as easy to sell compared to other vitamins and supplements. Not to mention the scandals that have made consumers more wary of buying products that they ingest.

The whey raws have actually dropped in price compared to the past. That's why every tom dick and harry supp company is producing a whey product.

This. bb.com is becoming obsolete at this point. Failing to adapt to the changing times. Not only with Amazon taking over, I'm noticing alot more fitness/supplement stores opening up in my area. The fitness community on Youtube is also taking over. What we are left with is non stop trolls, people who have no intention on ever getting into fitness and people who haven't discovered the alternate fitness community.

The problem is that most people in other subforums are not really interested in lifting or learning about it.

Tru.
As someone frequenting the workout program n sports training sections a lot i can attest to that.

But the thing is that ppl dont give a chit about answers with sources n further education.
I sometimes help noobies by linking thhem various sources, books or videos or write a detailed answer just to see that some othher dude comes in n posts "do this and that generic program" n these newbies jump right on it completely not giving a fuk about what i told them.

They want the quick fix. Rarely anyone wants an helpful answer but a generic recommendation.
