i'm on that t-shirt, thermal, hoodie, columbia down, mountain hardwear shell time with a watch cap and a balaclava
plus rain pants over jeans and boots
down fukken gloves when it's gets around freezing

look like a god damned fool but i'm comfy as fukk

there's no bad weather, only bad clothing

In the US, North Face jackets are considered formal wear.

In the US it's acceptable to wear North Face jackets to a wedding so long as your gf is wearing a matching North Face dress, preferably with a corsage made from the same material and colour.

In the US it's written into the constitution that you must dress like a doofus at all times. As if a camping trip or surfing holiday might break out at any moment, even if you're at a funeral or on a date.

yeah...no. only in Canada and maybe NYC. I would actually lol if I saw someone in the states wearing one of these ugly ass parkas. ONLY ever see fresh off the boat foreigners in them while taking pics with their $3,000 DSLR's set to auto. Moncler jackets at least don't look like chit. And Arc'teryx actually perform well for the same price.

wear North Face, Patagonia, Arc'teryx when I'm in casual/sport mode. Otherwise a real coat. It's not fuking Siberia and those Canada Goose coats look horrendous.

I have 3 fleece ones in red, black and blue but their real jackets are trash. I only wear bomber jackets and peacoats.

I remember when I was in highschool people would get their fleece ones stolen all over the place wonder if that stopped rofl

down jackets are very light..they look big coz they have lot of air trapped inside layers.
they are the most functional jackets u can buy and wear in extreme winter.

next best option is wool jackets but they are heavy and not water proof
