you people need to stop thinking in terms of muscle mass and more about health itself,

at the age of 50 you will not have much muscle left (if u are alive by then after injecting so much hormones into your body), and you willfeel like ****

but if you train like me and other healthy people you will live longer and more happy life... its the truth

after all.. people go to the gym to get artifical fake muscles and strength, only to get crushed when they try to chop wood for even an hour, or take a hike in the woods

Weird how a lot of these fighters are reporting that they incorporate fairly heavy compounds into their routine... I mean, compound lifts don't mean anything right?

Those are MMA fighters who also have to grapple and kick on the daily. Much different than raw punching.

So you're admitting that compound lifts can be used to generate functional strength.

FYI, your legs help generate punching power.

Why is this being debated? People have different goals and success looks different for everybody. It's all moot, anyway. Most forms of exercise and most exercise philosophies work together. It really is a matter of what is primary for you and what is supplemental.

Powerlifters can benefit from some supplemental Cardio work.

Bodybuilders can benefit from supplemental mobility and flexibility work

"Functional Strength" trainers can benefit from some supplemental compound movements.

Choose what you want to excel at and then treat everything else as helpful supplemental work.

The time and energy wasted comparing and contrasting can be time and energy used to incorporate and maximize.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

You clearly didn't watch his recent post of repping legit weight on the bench, eh? LMAO

I'm repping him just to spite you.

It's about 192.

Thanks for the lol brah. You're welcome to incorporate some additional heavy squats into your routine and see if that increases punching power though.

You're a funny guy. I posted a lifting video as late as Friday

Is there any specific lift you'd like me to do? My only condition is that you accept a perma ban when I deliver

You are 34 years of age and you are arguing with teenagers on the bb.com board over your lifting numbers. Can't think of anything more pathetic. I really hope you are natural man.

Post a video of yourself doing the human flag after doing 200 reps of squats without any weights whatsoever, I can accomplish this because I am athletic. Something which you are not

I am proud of my physique, i am muscular just in the right amount that women like, and athletic at the same time with a good healthy body. You can never make me feel bad for not being able to lift 500lbs off the ground for 2 seconds
