my parents think I have social anxiety srs.

Hopefully this time next year I'll have my own place in a city and will be able to get yucky correctly but for now I live in a boring quiet suburb where I'm 1 hour away from anything fun

Yea, I go to a commuter college too. Really hard to make close friends when you only see eachother for a few hours a day and then you go home and study. Gonna try to become more close to my inner circle this semester. I'm in cs and my program barely has any girls so that's pretty sad.

Theres nothing to do where I live. Me and my friends usually end up going to a shisha bar every week just because that's the only place that we can go to to actually socialize and no ones ever down to treck downtown.

If the housing market wasn't so chit in the city I'd probably save up to move there but there's no way I can do it without having a high paying full time job. Life's hard.

Just go out alone brah, there will be so many people out nobody will know you're some FA miscer!

Find a comfy seat at the bar and shoot the chit with the people nearby and the bartender. Wander around every once in awhile. Don't just stand by wall looking like some scared kid nursing his drink.

My girl is sick as a dog and my buddies are out of town.. I'm still going out. Never been to downtown Denver on New Years so figured I'd check it out.

I got kicked out of my house otherwise I'd be having a banging time back home rn. Fml. Instead I'm just chilling at my college apt smoking green watching football so not the worst setup. Idk I've gone out a lot the last year so I don't feel too bad but kinda wish I had the ballz to go out by myself. I used to but for some reason I'm embarrassed to now and would get self-conscious

I chose to work security at a NYE park party (cop) because this female wanted to hang out. I'm not really into said female and don't want to spend money. So I'll be getting paid to go out to the party and there's the potential of sloots coming up to me drunk wanting to hang out after.

I also chose a job that gets off at 1am so if said sloots want to hang after I'll be game.
