I don't make $300 a day (soon) but any job in the "real world" with that kind of pay or better is going to come with significant stresses that a basic waiting job will win over any day. Brb waiting tables in the day and smoking pot at night in my mohagony apartments vs $300 for stressing on timelines, taking work home, projects, office politics.

My condo charges me over $1,000/month and then I have a mortgage on top of it, etc.
Nice that your dad bought your home and pays for your college.
I had to work full time and pay my own way through college, it was hard. Especially as a computer science major at a good school. The workload and programming assignments were no joke.

Btw, that 20k you spent could have been <$500k at conservative investment rates by the time you near retirement but age 21 w/e gotta learn somehow.

I opted to go to a CUNY school, so tuition is only 5k a year. I offered to pay it, but my dad had money in a special savings account that can only be used for education or it's heavily taxed.

not including shares and property.
Honda Civic 2012 purchased new has 40k km on it - probably worth around $15k
Leather jacket - probably $800
prebuilt computer from 9 years ago (paid $2k for parts) - may be worth $500 all up lmao
really struggling here
I did blow 9k on a holiday to africa (3 weeks) and 12k to europe (6 weeks) within a year though.
