That's actually an interesting point. To combat this, they had to endow the moon with a peculiar west to east course and a slow 10 mile rotation in order to account for a single side of the object always coincidentally facing us. The rest of the celestial bodies, when viewed through a telescope, look nothing like the brilliant CGI planetary renderings NASA provides, and more like other flat luminaries. Just sayin.

Doesn't surprise me lol. The moon landing, after all, involved people walking around wearing light suits in 250 degree heat while in a radiation belt that would require 4 ft of lead just to avoid instantaneous death from radiation lol. Of course, they didn't realize the radiation part back then, so it's all good.

you just see the smirk on their faces, like they can't believe the bullchit they're spouting.

they lying in our own faces and laughing about it because it's such a huge bullchit.

brb skip to 05:35

watch it on youtube or fullscreen to really see their expression marks and how they mock

you would think if it they were actually srs about it they would be much more excited and talking srsly. instead you see they mocking it like it's a big fat joke and it's just a show.

Moon west to East, what?

I see both the moon and the sun come up over the horizon in the east (another thing no possible with the flat earth theories I've heard of) and go down in the west, then do the same thing the next day. According to the flat earth diagram that I've seen I should see the sun go across the sky from side to side quite far away in front of me. Not coming near my country and definitely not going across to the west of me at all.

To believably fix the moon's journey also required a 28 day orbital period. What you are talking about under heliocentric theory is attributed to the earth's spin, as far as your visibility of the moon.

I can't comment on the rest because I don't know where you live and haven't accepted any particular models as facts. I question things, but that doesn't mean that all questions have been answered. Especially if we've been using a false model for hundreds of years, more or less.

Ok how about this. A test that anybody can easily do. Get a cheap telescope and look at the craters on the moon. Wait a few hours and look at it again. If the craters moved, then the moon must be rotating, and therefore must be spherical. And if the moon is spherical, why would the earth be flat?

That wouldn't prove "rotation," that would prove movement. If you meant the relative space of the craters changed, that could imply rotation or perspective change.

Even heliocentricism assumes the observable, which is that the moon always faces earth with only one side visible, so no change in craters could be attributed to the moon's rotation

well not a flat earther, but actually the same side of the moon always faces earth because its rotation matches its revolution around the earth. so the craters never move.

Since you seem to answer every question properly based on what you believe, my question is:
So if its flat, the sun is supposed to revolve around the center/middle north of the NASA flat earth map right? Regardless if its circular or elliptical path.

Now, should that theory make the sun visible in some ways anytime of the day from wherever you're standing? And that should only show the sun changing its distance from your point?
How come that if its morning in the US, its exactly the opposite on the other side of the world?

One of their reasons is that it doesn't. Its just that our eyes are only able to see as much distance. And there are too many things/particles that obscure our vision especially that far.
Another argument they raise related to flat earth is the gravity being fake.

if you think the earth is flat, then you dont believe satellites are real either. satellites cant orbit a flat fuking disk because the force of gravity would constantly be changing ROFL. all satellites would either fly off into space or crash into earth.

Google image search "satellites" and report back. For having 20,000 of the things orbiting us at all times there sure seems to be a lack of evidence except CGI renderings and the random 1980's baked potato looking contraption.

do you realize that you can create your own company that deals with satellites and launch them yourself? do you think you will be called in by the CIA at some point in time and then they will give you a powerpoint presentation on how satellites arent real?

are you saying that every single country in the world that has satellites is in agreement to keep this conspiracy alive?

I'm not sure how far the vanishing point is but I am assuming that is computed based on a normal visible object. Should the vanishing point distance dependent on the size of the subject object? If its big enough then it will take longer distance to completely vanish from sight. And to consider, sun is not just a simple object, its a bright object so add that to the factor that it should be visible beyond the vanishing point.

How about the 23 axial tilt?

General comment:
Flat earthers from what I've seen always seem to try to disprove the science that we know now which is ok. But they also don't prove that their theories of FE is right. They rely mostly on the "missing" proof of spherical earth than the proof that earth is flat.

Pretty interesting discussion though.

How then do you suppose your cell phone works?

I don't believe anything out of the government either. However a basic introductory course into physics, etc. etc. would dispel 99% of conspiracy theories. Similar to a 6000 year old earth. Only with a prebuilt in opinion (NWO, illuminati, literal bible interpreter etc. etc.) would anyone come to conclusion that the earth was flat. No one would empirically ever come to that conclusion. And if you don't believe in gravity, etc. etc. how do you explain your TV? Satellites, Micro processing, GPS, etc. etc. all things that have been figured out and put into place due to discoveries made in science. (similar to discoveries that show the earth in in fact round)

Just because it doesn't make sense to someone with a limited understanding doesn't make it untrue.

I typically like your posts, commentary, etc. but think with a little more digging you would find serious fault. The earth is round. Easy to prove 20 different ways. It isn't "being blue-pilled" , it is just common sense. Stop jumping through hoops.

Antarctica is the reason we can't answer this. Various governments came together in the 50s to sign the treaty of Antarctica which made this place impossible to access outside of a few locations while under escort. Lots of other shady stuff there, but I'm on a phone.

"If the navigator neglects to apply the sun's semi-diameter to his observation at sea, he is 16 nautical miles (nearly) in calculating the position his ship is in. A minute of arc on the sextant represents a nautical mile, and if the semi-diameter be 16 miles, the diameter is of course 32 miles. And as measured by the sextant, the sun's diameter is 32 minutes of arc, that is 32 nautical miles in diameter. If ever dispoof is attempted, it will be a literary curiosity, well worth framing.''

89 N would be considering the tilt, with all things tilted, the outcome shouldn't change.

Nobody can really prove anything at this point. I thought flat earth was BS and only listened to the theories as a joke at first lol.

It is 4pm here on the East coast and to sun is out. It is 4am in Beijing and there is zero light.

What's the point for every country in the world to cover this up? If the world truly was flat I would be like "cool" and then move the fuk on. It would not effect me in the least.

You think Russia is covering it up? China? Japan? Australia? Korea? Germany? lol why tho?
Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.

I am black.

I'd argue that empirically, everyone would come to the realization the earth was flat.

Further GPS and cell phones are ground-based technologies.

If physics begins on the wrong assumption, it reaches the wrong conclusion. Just like Einstein did with his infinite universe, according to heliocentric theory. Just like 97% of the universe's mass had to be attributed to dark matter a few years back to keep things consistent. And how the sun's distance has changed from 3 million miles to 93 million miles (and everything in between).

You must also note the heliocentric model was adopted long before it could have been tested. Governments don't like to reverse course, especially if it means changing the very metaphysical existence of humankind, and removing much of their own authority.

Who knows though, my posts are fictitious anyways.
