in latin/religious countries, marriage is still a great thing. and no laws are skewed toward one side or another.

I work in the oil and gas sector. As soon as it is right. I am going to move to ***** where divorce always favours men.

Some asian countries have comparable or even higher standards of living than the west now.

just take a look at american families in the 50's..

that's what's right. they inversed so much the values and culture that we are where we are right now.

they achieved so much in such a short time.

lol this.
wish I could go back to the blissful ignorance of how women are angels.
Ive lived life as a beta, as a chad (been called a 9), and now in between cuz my looks are fading.
Even a 5/10 lied to me and slept around when I gave her a chance because I liked her as a person, and that ruined me for future relationships.
Brb dating a 19 year old but all i can think of is how shes eventually going to **** me over (srs)

hngggg

hope that doesnt change.

Honestly once it became normal for women to divorce and actually benefit from it ...it pretty much ****ed up the marriage imo.

There is still great women out there that is one thing most of the guys on here dont realize ...what the real issue is that the consequences of picking a bad one are very very steep especially for successful man who make alot of money. Those consequences come from stupid laws and the ****ed up culture where it has become normal to accept girls who are divorced. If you really think about it if you marry a girl that is divorced she has been ****ed by some guy in her prime 1000;s of times comes with mental baggage so she should be treated like second class women...(this should be the case for divorced man too) that is not what is happening in USA causing the girls to want a divorce for minimal reasons like i am bored or i want to see what else is out there (not to mention the possible financial benefits of the divorce) and you have recipe for disaster where even good women are tempted to see what else is out there.

I know many, many, many, guys with relationships that have been extremely strong for 5, 10, 20+ years. I know very few people with "horror stories". Most of the ones I do know it doesn't surprise me in the slightest because neither the guy or the girl remotely had their **** together enough to have a stable, fulfilling relationship.

Hard to believe someone with your physique has been brain washed by the pathetic FA's on the misc who justify their lack of a relationship on not wanting one because all sloots are sloots. When in the reality they'd give their left nut to sniff the hair of a dirty sloot.

Additionally. Keep yourself mentally and physically strong so that in the event you do unfortunately end up with one of the bad ones. It doesn't completely ruin you.

Jesus this place has literally become a contagious disease.

It is. People just quote it to be worse than it is to prove their point of "never marriage crew".

It's getting better overtime. It may be at like 30% or less than that.

We all got problems bro.
Amongst the working classes it is a problem, yeah, because it's so closely affiliated with the 'thug life'. Nobody (regardless of race or position) wants to acknowledge (or at least criticise) the connection as a result of various sensitivities, yet at the same time you have many of the 'rags to riches' (and even middle class black men) - the athletes, musicians - glorifying it. I know this annoys the **** out of a lot of my black friends.

To an extent this seems to be a problem with all lower socioeconomic groups in the West, especially when they're minorities. If you're short on options and have a lifestyle glamorised by people around you then it's going to tempt you.

Going back to your OP, it all ties together. We're at a time where people are pushing for liberal ideas over logic and practicality. The objectives themselves are usually very noble, but in practise they're not well thought out, and they're not always plausible. Additionally, there's so much information behind every social or political debate that 99% of people aren't going to have a real opinion beyond what's fed to them by the media and it's nearly all emotional rather than rational. This desire to appear 'liberal' has also led to a lot of virtue signalling and stifling of debate.

Enter our current 'issue' with gender roles. It's classic double-think. Girls are now being told that they should suppress their femininity in certain ways, and embrace it in others. That they should aspire to be more masculine, but also still respond the external stimuli as if they're victims etc. Meanwhile guys are being told that masculinity is bad. Throw in an innumerable number of contentions - often not debated for fear of not sounding liberal - and no concern regarding the cumulative effects of each 'fix' for the perceived issues, and you have our current situation where nobody knows what the hell's going on.

I don't think the issue is as wide-spread as it's perceived to be online. There have always been pitfalls to getting married and having relationships. That said, the main difference now is that men are being told to act in a way which is setting themselves up to be steam-rolled by girls (by being less masculine which girls inherently find unattractive), and girls are being told - in one of the best demonstrations of irony I've ever seen - to embrace the less desirable character traits of the stereo-typically masculine male. So on one hand they're being told that they're oppressed (and can largely do no wrong) and that men are going to **** them over if given a chance, but then they're also told to go out on a tear which (as anyone who's dated a lot knows) makes it a lot harder to 'settle' on one person largely because they know what else is out there.

*Edit

So to answer your question. I think we, as men, need to embrace our masculinity and accept that there's an increased element of risk when it comes to dating. But also we need to make sure the deal works for us.

I'd also suggest not getting overly attached to someone you've just started seeing. It's prone to **** your sh.it up mate.

*tl;dr

Everyone's confused. Girls have toughened up and men have been neutered. Don't let yourself be neutered.

I am all for people doing their own thing, but when you start saying things like all girls are X and they all want Y, you gotta take a step back and realise these are the people that fade into the background in your life. You're not and never will be them so don't listen to them.
My boss is in his late 50's and he's getting divorced after about 30 years of marriage. I know about it because he won't shut up about how stressed he is over it. Its things like my boss and all my friends through HS and all my parents friends and their chitty marriages/relationship horror stories and then I go online and see videos that basically confirm everything i've seen in real life that is scaring me from marriage.

Of course people will make excuses and say; "well, most people make rash decisions and marry on a whim or marry people they're clearly not compatible with" Okay, but what about the people that got married and were seemingly perfect for one another and STILL got divorced? I'm sure there are plenty of people who made stupid choices for marriage partners, but the vast majority of normal people get married thinking the girl they're with is the one that will be with them for the rest of their lives. They don't anticipate a divorce.

for people hating on blaks saying its them destroying family unit, mom on drugs, aids, killing babies, abortions, etc

its not that they're doing it on themselves, its that its being done to them first as almost a trial run

when abortion clinics were open the majority of them were open in blak communities, not white. and yeah there is a move to destroy families because strong family backgrounds allow people to grow a lot better mentally than someone who comes from a chit family. and when people gain knowledge, one day they might wake up and say "oi m8 y we wrkin 50 hr weeks" and come for the necks of their company ceo's,

read my children read

and for finding wife or gf man use caution, i know some real good clean girls out there that are wife material, most are still bat **** crazy but love raising their kids, keeping their family intact.

I don't think it's about just "Waking up at age 50 with no kids, chasing after 21 year old sloots."

- Most of these are warnings just that, warnings.

It's a frightening prospect, OP. I only know of one girl who I'd consider marrying, everyone else is either too unstable, has a wretched personality, is incredibly narcissistic, or is attached to social media, not that the aforementioned are mutually exclusive.

sorry but the true "redpill" is that nobody can make you happy but yourself, not a marriage, gf or even friends.

Like you I have become complacent with women and get that playing out the slideshow in my head from start ---> finish feels like its just a ratrace.

Back in the day family values mattered - they kept people together, and helped them through the darkest of times. People worked things out. They got through such atrocities (WW1, WW2, etc...) that a relationship quarrel was literally a bump in the road.

These days? There isn't even a glimmer of similarity: women are chased by men (I mean it by the sense of biological and reproductive purposes; there's little a woman would chase a man for - ever) and with social media they have crowds just waiting at their disposal. Men are more replaceable than ever in the past. The generation of millennials has absolutely no patience and really is just a flat out disgrace - it's all about instant gratification: if there's a quarrel in a relationship - it's over without any attempt to try and understand the opposing side, or even a drop of sweat to try and work things out.

The reality is that no one in this day in age has had to overcome atrocities of any kind - they're used to being given exactly what they want, hence you have people with nothing to do except ponder things that back in the day no one ever even thought about: people questioning their sexuality and undergoing sex changes, people thinking they like the same sex more than the opposite - and others berating people for thinking such, those resorting to perverse views such as feminism to try and get what they want later in life with but little effort, people trying to push for fat acceptance rather than eating less, etc...

It's the epitome of absurdity

Please note I do not say these things with complete generalization. There are that don't follow this trend. But really - whether you do or do not, that's more for others to determine by what you've done and how you've acted, rather than for you to try and justify actions and a character onto yourself.

just admit to yourself

you're pretty much fukked if you're considering marriage in this day and age

ESPECIALLY if you reside in Western countries with laws weighed heavily against you

women have always been women, but technological advances have basically destroyed their femininity

if you're a Chad, it really doesn't matter as you could slay in the old days and it's easier than ever to slay now...also marriage is difficult for a Chad anyway

you have to be a special kind of blue pill to get married nowadays...since the pool you're selecting from is basically devoid of any femininity (a crucial factor in the household dynamic)

a strong woman used to mean one who was feminine and devoted to the husband and served as a strong female figure for the kids...thereby providing a succeeding chain that passes strong values to the kids

that has gone completely out of the window and has been replaced with "I ain't gotta listen to you" and "mean wives" or stupid chit like that

Add to that laws that are more than ever able to destroy men's financial backbone with divorce and you must literally throw logic out the window to even consider marriage

And no, positivity doesn't cut it...it goes both ways...you become a special kind of mental cuck if you are a one-way positive street on marriage and your wife is a negative nagging shopaholic (which is what you're likely to deal with with today's candidate pool)
You're a speck of organic dust in the vast cosmos of the Universe

Get out there and be a sick Immanuel Kant

If you're a cold hearted bastard like me then it doesn't really matter if your girl sloots cos you will move on with no phucks given. Just don't end up marrying anyone and you'll be fine. Too many MGTOW virgins preaching this bs about celebrity break ups but have no actual experience of it happening to them lol.

Yeah I hear about all the toxic **** that goes on in relationships, divorces, men and women cheating on their SOs. However I do have to wonder if it was the end result of people putting pussy on a pedestal, barking up wrong trees, trying to turn hoes into housewives, etc. Circumstances and situations that could have easily been avoided if people weren't so far up their own asses.

Most of those kinds of stories I've heard of involve people being deluded, ignoring all the red flags and thinking with their dicks. I'd say 90% of the stories I've heard with everything being sunshine and roses and one day everything magically changes and the man gets wrecked by his woman, have been stories posted from MGTOW types. We all know those guys like to peddle their bull**** every which way and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Well what happens is you wake the fuk up and stop setting unrealistic goals.

Im sure i can find a 6/10 that will love me and f me every night but a 9 or 10 why would she be with me when she could get with an idiot lawyer or doctor who doesnt see her gold digging coming cause hes "in love", or a 3rd string nfl player making the base 500k a year that otherwise is unaesthetic snd nothing special. You start to observe other men observe yourself and what gives you sexual value.

Ive smashed a few 19 and 21 year olds lately. Do you think that i think i should wife them up cause wow theyre sexy and young? Absofukinlutely not im 35 it would go south a year or two from now.

whats wrong with doing what ur doing now but just for the rest of ur life? if you're bored uve gotta find other **** to do. if you hate it that much dedicate your life to becoming a senator or a billionaire and try to do your part in changing it for the future. other generations have lived through worse tyranny than this, gotta appreciate what u get and fight for what u dont get. but u cant just accept it and be a beta cause ull most likely end up just as unhappy and you cant cry about it because its not going to change the reality.
