Red Orchestra 2, Day of Defeat, Skyrim, and WC3.

RO2 was broken af when it was first released, but now I don't even care about realism shooters anymore.

DoD is just a WWII knockoff of Counter-Strike, and I don't even like CS.

Bought Skyrim due to the hype, and I won't say it's a bad game, but just wasn't for me. Got bored real fast.

Bought WC3 just to try something Warcraft related because I liked Starcraft, and there are many Warcraft fans. Hated the game. I tried so hard to like it, but it's just not for me.

Nothing else I can remember that I "bought", don't play video games much anymore, other than the same ones I bought years ago, and I usually buy video games based off self-interest and not hype.

5 was set in like the middle east or something right (somewhere desert like)? I played it briefly cause a friend had it and was unimpressed.

Like I said though I didn't really like the format change though and only like 4 cause of Leon, and even then I use the term like very loosely when describing 4.

Problem with it was there was no complexity to them. Like I would wander around the mansion or the police station forever at times playing 1 and 2. The newer ones lacked any real puzzles to solve. Seemed way too linear/one directional if that makes sense.

Plus way too much shooting. And some random merchant to buy from, wtf?

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I bought Uncharted 1 & 2 and I lost interest before I finished Uncharted 1. I really have no desire to play Uncharted 2. Kind of boring.

RO2 is actually pretty good now. Original ro2 is much better than the rising sun stuff though.

If only they made a zombies game separate from multiplayer and campaign then black ops 3. I only bought the game for zombies. But I would say the other two black ops were GOAT. Not so much bo3
Star Wars battlefront was a cash grab and I feel retarded for even buying it, especially the deluxe edition with the guidebook. What the hell was I thinking.

HORRY CHET by far hands down my most regretful purchase was YOSHI'S STORY for N64. 1998 i think. was soooooo hyped to finally see a Yoshi game on N64 and knowing that Yoshi's Island for SNES was a very good game i was thinking this game would be excellent. read no reviews beforehand just blindly went in said take my money......

put that bitch in the 64 and almost cried after about 10 minutes. wanted sooo bad for the game to be good i kept looking for good things to happen and kept hope but the gameplay and music was straight ass.

still haunts me to this day.

Diablo 3 Collectors Edition - Bought it because I was a D/D2 veteran when it was released, only bought it because of the name and reputation. Absolutely destroyed the story line for me. Hate it with a passion, don't even consider it a continuation of D2, wouldn't have paid $10 for that chit had I known what it was like lol.

My friend had Yoshi's Story on N64. I thought it was enjoyable. I don't specifically remember it being bad or anything. I was probably ten at the time, so I may have just been unaware.

Old systems:

Basically any Olympics game on the mega drive, or sports games in general except early football (soccer) games.
South Park on N64, holy **** it was so bad and I spent like 6 months of pocket money as a 8-9 year old to buy it, the worst feeling ever.
Never really had any bad games on the Sega Saturn / PS1 luckily.

PC:

This list could go on forever.

UT2003 UT2004 UT3 - after playing the original UT99 every day for 3 years straight each of these were massive disappointments. UT4 in dev atm is promising though.
Every MMO except EVE Online, Lineage2 and WoW - honourable failure mentions would be Conan, Pirates of the burning sea, Black Desert, Archage, Tera and every WoW expansion after WOTLK.
Every CoD game after 4:MW(1)
BF3+4 should have been 1 game not 2
Brink
Company of Heroes 2
Dead Island
RE5
Supcom2, another devastating one after investing so many hours into SC:FA multiplayer

So many more that I could list, luckily for the past 2+ years ive avoided most disappointments as I dont preorder or buy games around release anymore, Ive also perma quit mmo's as they just require too much time.

When did you resell it? Game's PVE content was always good unless you didn't do the raids....

Though I have plenty of fond memories on many different games, whether it be solo grinding way at Final Fantasy or Elder Scrolls or multiplayer with friends on Halo/CoD/BF...

I regret purchasing all of them. Such money and time wasted I could have spent improving myself or experience more tangible things. I sometimes wonder how much more successful/experienced I would be than I am now (life isn't bad at all) if I hadn't played video games.

007: Tomorrow Never Dies for PS1

Boy, was I pissed at this abomination of a fuking game. I remember mowing lawns and saving my allowance to be able to afford this pile of dog ****.
Since it was the next 007 game to come out after Goldeneye, I figured it would be awesome, so I didn't bother renting it at blockbuster. You should have seen the utter look of disappointment in my face after about 15 minutes of playing this piss excuse of a video game.
The gameplay: wack
The music: wack
The weapons: pure piss
The graphics: chit

I literally cried because I realized that I had wasted my money that I saved up (first time as a kid saving up for something).

That game to this day dissappoints me.

I think I need to add Halo 4 to this. Being a Halo fanboy from the beginning, when 4 dropped I went in and spent the $90 something on the full game plus season pass for map packs and everything. Halo 4 was not the Halo we had all come to know and love. I barely played it for a few weeks, let alone ever got to see the maps I paid for up front. And the campaign was crap too.

edited to add: in fact, this poor choice was the deciding factor in me never pre paying for anything ever again.

Wait, u w0t m8?

RE4 was named game of the year by Spike, Nintendo, Game Informer, Famitsu, has won multiple IGN awards, and is often considered one of the all-time greatest games lmao
Resident Evil 4 is often considered one of the best video games of all time. Nintendo Power ranked it as number one top best GameCube games of all time" in 2005[123] and also ranked it second on their list of the best games of the 2000s in 2010.
