I got me a Boston Terrier puppy as a Christmas present to myself. She is awesome. Total lap dog except for her 5 minute energy burst here in there but its funny to watch. Like she took 10 scoops of the ole Jacked PWO. I have a 5 year old daughter and she lets her do whatever she wants to her.

I live in a smaller apartment and have a Bernese Mountain Dog. She's lazy as fuk so just chills while I'm at work.
BMDs do need excercized a bit though and love to pull so I take her on a long walk before and after I work and she gets playtime at the dog park.
Sloots are fascinated with her too srs

Pitbull and lab/mutt crew checking in.
Pitbull is friendlier but he's dumb as phuk.
Lab sheds a ton but is smart. She sleeps in my room and when she wakes up she jumps on the corner of my bed and pulls open the door from the handle.
I will NEVER get a dog that sheds like crazy again unless I have a robot vacuum to take up some of the problem.

I once had a Border Collie that was the best pet ever. I ended up moving into a smaller place and did not want to have her all pent up with no place to run, so I had to find her a new home. Since then, I have had a few other really good dogs. My Boston Terrier is maybe the best behaved dog I have ever had, and not quite the hyperactive dog I had expected. I had a Basset Hound at the same time who was crazy and overactive (he was cute AF though). I think those two dogs may have had a personality transfusion. I also loved my Welsh Corgi, who was easily trained and well-behaved, but this particular one had medical issues from the get go and died early.

German Shep owner. he's about 17 months old now.

i don't know if they're the best in the world but OP all i can say is do all the homework you can on the dog before you choose. know their habits and quirks/tendencies as best you can. don't go by looks alone.
i can absolutely vouch for a GSD and can talk all day about mine but overall just make sure you're a good fit for eachother, whether you go with a husky or something smaller or something bigger.

Dalmatians. Seems like they've really fallen out of popularity over the last decade or so and I really can't understand why.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
