I read some lulzy story about a French guy who married a Mongolian woman, thinking she was humble and modest because she grew up in a yert. Slowly, he found himself financially supporting her entire clan, which seemed OK because they didn't need much. Then her cousin wanted to start an IT business, had what seemed like a reasonable business plan, so he got money, then needed more money to "save" the business, and then, when it came time to fight it out, wife sides with her semi-nomadic extended family and they literally just wander away to leave him single and broke in Ulaan Bataar.

I used to think wifing up a peasant might be a good solution, but increasingly, I'm realizing there are probably no good solutions.

Nothing is sacred anymore...I'm not super religious but i think the loss of religion, shame, and morals by people in society has rendered marriage useless for 75% of the population. Back in the day it was easier (no social media, no texting, etc.) The only attention sloths recieved were from their husbands. Now if a chick posts a selfie with no makeup on she gets 100 dudes liking it. Keeping a woman these days is a full time job, and exhausting.

This why I travel overseas every year because life / routine super boring. You have to make life exciting with your partner other wise just same same. Get up go to work come home eat dinner sleep wake repeat
