The ASMR videos is just the stimulation that one tries to receives virtually. Real ASMR is when in reality you watch someone do stuff with their hands and you become really relaxed by it. I remember when I was a kid and just throughout life when I would watch someone use their pencil and eraser abs I would fall under deep relaxation. I loved watching my fellow classmates do arts and crafts. You either have it from being predisposed to it at an early age or you don't.

Been into asmr for the past 10 years. nearly 100% of the time I never "watch" the video, I just have the sound play in the background if I'm doing work, or reading, or whatever. Legit give zero f**ks what the person looks like as long as the asmr triggers in the audio are good.

I find certain noises and sounds to be relaxing. I don't buy into any kind of trance like state or feel tingles but I like to listen to tapping, rubbing, scratching, brushing etc. I can put a video on just thinking I'll listen a few minutes then like an hour later I'm still listening. I usually don't even watch the videos. As I find most of the time the male's have better content. The female's are just successful because FA people like watching them. The one's where they are talking a lot or have some kind of story/plot are weird as hell. People put up a lot of weird content and claim its "ASMR".


Mikelous was the first one to really get me into it. Content isn't as good as it used to be though.
