Hey! Thanks man. I know many mom and pop pet store owners I will likely give out a few to here and there and when (hopefully) their customers buy them, I'll then start selling them to them. It was either tham, or gold dust day geckos. Cresteds and leopards are very common so they wouldn't need any of those from me. The one fear I got though was AFTER i decided to breed them based on their cuteness, I come to read they need very little handling, can even be skittish. Argh. But here's hoping! Thanks again.

They are especially the female is laid back. She's digging in the substrate like a gerbil. Kicking it up.

After copulation the female is supposed to be able to lay a clutch of 2 eggs per clutch every 15-22 days within a period of 5 months. I shall remove them and incubate them 2 at a time. I hope it's that easy.

it really will be lol. as long as you have the right temps and humidity in the substrate and incubator you should be golden.
then its just alot of patience

Well the male his tail is regrowing. It looks like a bit of pointy floppiness. Almost looks like rubber or a used eraser at the end of his body right now. I didn't know it could regenerate that quickly.

They are not eating, but acting fine otherwise at night when I view them in red LED lighting. During the day I keep a 100 watt bulb in a dome capable of holding a bulb up to 150 watts. I don't know what could be off about the enclosure that they are not hungry. They pass on superworms, waxworms and crickets.

So many bearded dragon, ball python and leopard gecko breeders out there. I wanted to breed something more rare. I could be 1 out of 100 people breeder and seling leopards in my area, or I could be 1 out of one in my area i.e. the only game in town to breed frog eyed's for petstores and retailers and individuals. *sigh*

Good question... most I see are $50. Other frog eyeds for much less but I think those were the tibetan ones. Mine's are russian.

It's part of my silly breeding goals. Not a get rich quick off lizards thing exactly. I cannot explain it. I just think despite them being so rare here I'd make more off them, cause pet stores won't need my business if I bred say bearded dragons. Cause they got too many suppliers for something like those.

Can't decide on a ball python, or a boa. I Want the boa's more energetic movement, instead of a ball pythons slow timid nature, but i also don't want a snake getting TOO big. Like 5-6 feet, but i know how boring a ball python can be to interact with. Suggestions?

Too small lol i want a good size snake, just not bigger than i can handle by myself. Ball pythons are the perfect size, but they can be a bit boring to handle

Reptiles are not a get rich quick plan haha, as long as you enjoy breeding them then its all good.

Look into a leopard boa or carpet python, not too big and alot more personality.

Got the new setup, He (confirmed he) seems to like it! He went exploring and found his moist hide and cool one.





Question..... I covered the bottom with reptile carpet, but it wasn't long enough to fit the depth of the tank. It has some overlays, and I know the worms will sneak their way under there. Can I use something like Green Duct Tape on the top seams to seal them?

pics not showing for me. But I cut the overlapped ends and pieces of the reptile carpet. If it helps though, I have used aluminum or foil tape to secure heat tape in my snake tubs. Which heat tape might be better for the hot end.

The good thing about tile I am about to grout into my leo's cage is, they'll be zero spaces for the worms or any insects to crawl into/under. I cannot wait for it!

Don't know chit about reptiles but in general with animals I feel you just have to do your best to assess quality of life and make a decision.

I cannot get anymore snakes.

I put my bearded down. She was completely paralyzed at the end. Can only move head up very very slowly. Sucked

My frog eyed male grew it's tail back, regenerated and doesnt look retarded as a regenerated leopard gecko's would. No eggs yet. I set them up in a 40 in the dead bearded's spot.He and his mate.
