Statue of limitations has passed on most of these so called "Allegations." Honestly, it all comes to evidence if they cant prove without a reasonable doubt then they obviously cant throw the guy in jail.

I find it pretty nuts how big of a deal this bullchit still is. This Bill Cosby crap first became a huge media carnival like 3 damn years ago. Regardless of what the jury decides, no one's opinions on the matter are really going to change. All this case does at this point is further prove how celebrity/Hollywood gossip bs obsessed our society has become.

I can't believe there's someone who wonders why a major celebrities ongoing rape case would be news. This isn't about Bill Cosby getting a latte, it's about one of the most famous, beloved and respected figures in America for generations - turning out to be a serial rapist... on what planet would this not be a big deal?

It's pretty disgusting how many men are being trialled and judged as guilty in the media before even making it to a court room.

Even if he was found innocent his reputation has been destroyed.

If it was me and I was found innocent, I would turn right back around and go after all of those women for damages.

You are completely missing the point of what I said. Point me to the part of my post where I said the Bill Cosby rape accusations/case were *never* a big deal.

What I actually said was that the obsession with it has gone over the top. It has been about 3 years since the media frenzy with this all started, there are numerous questions surrounding the accusations still, and most importantly, the public oponion of Cosby isn't going to be shifted by the outcome of this court case. Given those things, while he certainly deserves to be treated like anyone else by the court system, the story being headline breaking news is getting old.

Not to mention that at this point in the game, Cosby is a 79 year old, nearly blind, going totally senile, shell of his former self. Most of the accusstions were from 30+ years ago. Yet the media is acting like they nailed him with dozens of slam dunk cases in the prime of his career in the midst of it all with rock solid forensic evidence. So yeah, I think this story is being over-dramatized at this point. His legacy is totally fukked regardless, so there is no reason for this to be headline news anymore.

What I hate is that this is being made into an issue of race. Even Cosby himself said it was because he's black. Stuff like that pisses me off. Cosby was a figure beloved by everyone. Even after these allegations surfaced, like 20 of them or something, people were still defending him, and they still are.

I've never paid attention to the case because.. well I never gave a ****. I was probably born in the wrong era and never watched his show but I don't see how any of what he did had any appeal. If some ****ing guy came on my TV doing a weird dance saying zippidy zoo bop zippidy day I'd change the ****ing channel.

Anyway, people who's opinion I generally trust and who have looked into it say he's probably a rapist and probably guilty. So I adopt that thinking.

He probably did bang them but my only question is: Did he put something in their drink without their permission or were they doing Quaaludes? Also, some women throw themselves at famous/rich/powerful men and then when it doesn't get them their desired effect they use it to try to get something else screaming rape.
