Don't let this distract you from the fact that Great Britain blew a 13 colony lead against the United States 241 years ago today

Its ok, Jose, Enrique, Deshawn, Shanique and Jamal have you by the balls. Your ancestors did you proud

I do know US history but its a matter of not caring. You on the other hand don't really get why outsiders don't worship the US. And those goat herders are able to take the fight to you because all you care about is materialism, like Europe. They have no airforce, no real army, no mechanised army, no aircraft carriers and no nukes and yet you're pitiful laws ground you down into a quagmire of your own doing.

lol

At least the British Empire knew when to call it quits. You're slaves to Israel

The British also ponder how the world is such a great place after invading Iraq and Afghanistan.

I hate that argument. If we wanted we could wipe that entire backwards country out in a heart beat. The only reason we don't, and struggle to cleanse the area is because it's so backwards that the bad guys blend in with the less-bad guys. That, and we fight with morals so we don't just want to wipe everybody out.

There's actually many examples of elite conventional fighting forces losing to unconventional fighting forces in unfamiliar territory. It really isn't a rarity.. no need to attempt to educate some clueless British cuck.

I wouldn't even call it a fight, the enemy has NO army. They blend in with the civilians and then they pop out to shoot and hide again, and we don't want to kill civilians.

How is that a fight. Even if it was an unconventional army we'd wipe them out, but they hide and we don't want to hurt the wrong person. That's all it is.

I would define it as the Russians routed them in several key battles, drove them back thousands of miles, overran their homeland, occupied their capital city and toppled their government

I think that counts as a 'defeat'... Nothing to do with who killed the most lol

There's definitely a fight.

In Afghan we got mortared every day... sometimes multiple times per day. And when our 11b guys went out looking for trouble, nothing but smiles and waves. They found a few weapon caches, but at this point in our occupancy they've all realized they don't want engage us with firearms because they get ****ing obliterated. That's why they set up IEDs and mortar us at 3 AM.

This. Americans fail to understand the world doesn't revolve around them and the rest of the world is more concerned with other things.

Except the US has not been losing in the middle east, in fact they were never losing.

Way more insurgents have been killed than US soldiers, and we have given up any ground.

You realize we spent $2.4 trillion dollars on Iraq and Afghanistan, though, right?

Since it's all debt, we're paying interest on it, too.

The entire annual GDP of Afghanistan is less than 1% of what we've spent holding our ground over there. That's the real problem with asymmetric warfare: it's so expensive to wage war our way that just holding our ground over there accounts for about 20% of our national debt. Insurgents, on the other hand, can just go stack up some new mud somewhere else.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Indoctrinate their children more than they do. Shifts in ideology come from the youth.
