Nutrition science is a total chit show. A lot of the "scientific research" on nutrition is funded by businesses that have a dog in the fight. It really is hard to know what to believe in this area.

Idk anyone who drinks milk like water but if you're against drinking milk regularly say with dessert it makes no sense to yourself regularly consume milk products

If you're still afraid then try milk from a local farm.

Also you're a liar, you DO eat cheese and cream:
I dont eat cheese, I had that pizza in December 2010 when I went to NYC for my college graduation celebration.

I also said I grew up drinking milk by the half galon, and half my family lives in wisconsin so I have had the most fresh and organic milk there is. I am not arguing taste here, I am just going off of science and more particularly nutrition and digestive research. I avoid at all costs the most allergenic foods and likely foods that a person is intolerent to. I am too cheap to actually go get an allergy test because they are 70% inaccurate, so I just choose to avoid most of them. I have had a lot of inflammatory issues and definitely have some food intolerences and allergies, lactose being one of them as I ALWAYS get lots of gas, bloating, and irregular stool when I consume a moderate quantity of dairy

You say "More milk for everyone?" like there's a milk shortage. They're making people think milk is some sort of poison

meanwhile they're eating pizza, butter, ice cream etc. which is definitely worth the bubble guts

This is a valid point, but when it comes to milk, there is clear meta analytical evidence that milk is one of if not the highest allergenic and intolerant foods we consume

This is true and you've also got reports/research funded by groups whose businesses are biased against certain foods. There's so much conflicting info you don't know who to trust

It's a little more expensive than that but if you have issues with regular milk this would be your best alternative.

A lot of people don't get this. Sugar is dumped on the ground is a big warehouse where people walk on it. A certain percent of rodent and spider parts are allowed by government regulation until it is bleach and packaged.

May people are allergic to peanuts (and dozens of other foods). Shall the rest of us stop eating those too?

The only way you're going to get it. It's illegal to sell in the U.S. for all the above reasons.

I still drink it since easy cals, protein and i love the taste. Around 500ml a day.
I'm aware of the apparent bad **** in it but so much stuff it seems these days isn't optimal for your health what ever that means.
Only bad thing i heard of from milk but haven't bothered to look into it is puffy nips but i don't have puffy nips so what ever.

Noticed a bunch of vegan *******s in general popping up everywhere trying to shame meat eaters

Don't drink milk much anymore but there's still nothing like milk n cereal das it mane
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Haven't drank milk in years. Saw the threads and went out and got a 1/2 gallon right away. A definite thread backfire.

some europeans have a specific Gene that allows us to drink all the milk we want as adults with no consequences.

in fact, there have been studies that showed that Europeans who had the Milk gene and could drink milk as adults were much taller than all other Europeans.

i'm one of them. I've been a milk drinker since i was a little boy. and so was my dad and my uncle, and we're all at LEAST 6 ft tall and strong as ****.

even better if you mix in toasted wheat in the milk, grounded up into powder and mixed with the milk. my dad introduced me to that as a little kid and it stuck.

Milk makes me phlegmy and gassy. I can get away with some butter and some cheese but for the most part I avoid cow's dairy in large quantities. I even make my own clarified butter to cook with.

I do miss half and half in coffee. I have yet to find a comparable non-dairy substitute. Some coconut milk products come close.

Pint of milk a day every day since I was a kid. No fuks given, no side effects either. Guess I have a more evolved digestive system than the organic almond milk drinking fairies running around these days.

Lots of bad information out there regarding nutrition in general. Get your info from primary and secondary research, not buzzfeed articles or ******** friends. Milk is fine, but if you're lactose intolerant or if you have an intolerance to the milk proteins then maybe eat yogurt instead. /thread

dietary calcium is important for children, so I do have some issue with the anti "xxx" crew yet again ignoring the benefits of calcium to a growing body and harping on the negatives of milk as if it doesn't do anything for children. I don't really see the need for a teen or adult to partake in milk but if it has a chance to strengthen your child or even help suppress the lactose intolerance its a pretty cost effective/easy way to do so; it's not like society is going to suddenly stop using cow's milk.

I can't imagine trying to sell calcium supplements to a 4 year old but a glass of chocolate milk or even a glass of milk and cookies is pretty easy.

Are you lactose intolerant? All of those items you listed have much less lactose due to the processing methods. I also doubt you eat sour cream/heavy cream and butter by the cup.
