I'm starting over after the hurricane - I pulled in some of the containered plants but most of my stuff is in frames I knocked up out of 2x6's. The frames survived but the plants didn't.

I had Jalapenos, Cherry Bombs, and Thai Bird Chilis. I REALLY liked the cherry bombs - it's a hybrid cherry pepper that's hotter (about jalapeno hot) but cherry pepper trees give TONS of peppers. Will probably do something similar.

Most fresh veg isn't worth the effort, at least here in Florida where we can get kickass FRESH produce year round for cheap. But I do keep herbs and peppers since they are always useful and better fresh. It's also the only kind of gardening that will always save you money - I have tons of fresh basil all the time, whereas a few leaves at the grocery store is like 4? Get outta here.

Went out last night and grabbed this 8/10's number. I won't have to look at my phone for matches or texts. I've got a new love in my life. Bout to spend the weekend purging my closet, doing laundry, and perhaps buying a couple of fall items.

Nope, just slice em up, top a tex mex dish with them and some cheese, stick it under the broiler till it's spicy melty deliciousness.

Took today off work.. mums babysitting our son. Me and the wife had £70 steaks and pints of lager for lunch. Got her a Vivienne west wood handbag. She got some new underwear as a treat for me. Now in a gin and champagne bar. It's been a decent day so far.

I buy the Trader Joe's once - the Twice Roasted is very good.

I bet RedRaider could give you some Hnnng recipes, the only thing I make fresh is Pico de Gallo since it's easy and incredible when you do it up fresh (jarred is meh):

Tbh it's been expensive but my wife doesn't treat herself enough and I'm always buying new trainers and boxing gloves etc for myself so decided since she's not been out poroperly since having our boy 6 weeks ago to treat her. Happy Friday folks! Late check in cause we've been busy af this morning! Walk in the office to "Oh by the way that 10 person meeting has just turned into 10 people and the 24 different firm partners they support. They'll also be here 30 minutes earlier than expected. TGIF homies.

My plans: husband is grilling tonight, so I don't gotta make dinner (marinated everything last night for him). I'll use the time to re-organize the garage.
Tomorrow: going to stain the fence that was completed this past weekend. Going shopping in the afternoon to get ready for our housewarming party on Oct. 7th.
Sunday: general housework day. Laundry, food prep, dusting, cleaning.

Might try to sneak in a date at this awesome restaurant I found.
