It doesn't take a lot to crush your neck. 98 kg is not a heavy weight to lift, but it's a lot for your neck.

first time benching
load up a set of 45's
nah looks a little light, ive seen other people do that before
loads another set of 45's "yeah that's what I bench in GTA"
proceeds to spend 5 minutes finding a way to break the weight
"ok i've got it now, time to lower is -just- a little"
unlocks elbows and weight crushes him
When I was 150lbs know what i repped on the bench when i started? 95lbs If i had started off with 200lbs in an empty gym i probably would have died too

Again, RIP to the child. It always saddens me when I see young people killed. I see enough of it in the hospital between drug overdoses and car accidents.

I wonder what dirt this 15 year old australian rugby player from Queensland had on hillary clinton.
First I thought no way they could be linked. Why would killery even go to Australia?
Then I saw:

The former First Lady and US Secretary of State made her first foray down under 20-years ago, accompanying then President Bill Clinton on a four-day trip to Canberra and far north Queensland."
She was IN Queensland less than a year ago. For 4 days. This poor bro's home town. Did he see some chit? Did he witness her people abducting orphan children for rape, torture and spirit cooking? Was he going to talk?

Know your limits, and don't use clips. Tore a pec attempting 385. Spotter couldn't get it, so I dumped it.

Now he's lifting with Rich Piano in that great big gym in the sky.
RIP
And never bench without a spotter unless your rack looks like this.

I just did 315x9 and a half. Failed on the 10th rep and had no problem bailing out. Great piece of equipment right there.

That is so horribly sad. It wouldn't make me try to discourage my son from lifting, but it would encourage me to make sure he knows how to do it safely if alone.

Tragic, but to lighten the mood I think I could sleep with 100kg on my back and be fine. Lift what's comfortable when you don't have a spotter.

It's a shame he died but you gotta use your brain sometimes.
I think we have all done some stupid **** while weight lifting, I know I have.

If his friends were true bros, they'd have loaded the bar with more weight before they took it off.
