To be fair the only reason we have to learn about this is because we've developed into a culture where a) people have an aversion to responsibility and b) too many people take things personally when you're upfront with them.

You didn't mention in the thread you told her that though. You cancelled date, went NC and assumed she'd get the picture. But people cancel dates for a plethora of reasons
