Sure but I get the feeling Thanos' appearance isn't going to be a sort of 'slow' build up. When he hits he'll be gunning for the Infinity Gems, and get a few in order for them to understand what the hell is going on. That's what I see with Iron Man 'broken' on the floor, etc.

We still don't know where all of the infinity stones are.

From the trailer is looks like the avengers are all fighting their own little battles in small groups around the world, Thano's army seems to be the distraction, and he gets all of the stones by the end of the movie and then the avengers finally Assemble in the second movie.....but at the same time This seems like a pretty apocalyptic event, I'm not sure how they're going to just shoehorn in another Antman movie as if nothing is wrong before Part II is released.

BTW "all but one" of the stones is still ridiculously powerful especially since we know he's going to have Strange's Time stone.

Thats where my hype is coming from. Its being directed by the Russo Brothers who worked on Winter Soldier and Civil War, so its definitely going to have a more serious tone to it.

I wouldn't hold out on it being like the comics or that hilariously poorly drawn cartoon. Age of Ultron was nothing like the comics, from his origin to his motives, it was all a fabricated storyline.
