LA Fitness in my market has really stepped up. The facilities are huge, nicely laid out, and in very key locations.

Yeah its the best chain around, especially cause they are everywhere. Especially in the Northeast where I am. I pay $30 month to go to any LA, I would pay $20 month to go to any PF. No contest. Only thing I wish is LA had some better hours, especially on weekends.

That guy is Richard Simmons. He made bank selling the delusion to middle-aged hausfraus that they could get in shape just by dancing in place for 30 minutes a day in front of their TVs. The brilliant part is that when it didn't work for them, they blamed themselves for not doing the "workout" every day.

Also, that dude is gayer than a rainbow-colored $3 bill with Obama's face and unicorns on it. He had no interest in pulling dimes. He was more interested in pulling on dinks. Howard Stern used to have him on and goof on him. I remember they used to make fun of his expensive doll collection.

They are pretty new to the NE actually. There's like one every mile in FL. Speaking of hours, that's why I also have a membership at Any Time. The two gyms together cost me less than the place I went to in MA before moving to FL...

I went on a private jet not long ago from FL to Panama with a guy worth well over a billion dollars net. He could buy PF with his pocket change. He's 74, looks like he's 60, and we hit the gym several times, even while chilli'n in Panama. He knows that $ don't mean jack chit if you're in poor shape/health. Smarten the F up or pay the price later son.

it makes sense given how the whole point of planet fitness is to benefit from casual non hardworking people (when it comes to getting in shape at least), this guy prob tried out getting in shape and failed and found himself a very creative business plan.
