Never met a woman in this age who can cook, bang well or provide anything of value to me. So it seems crazy to hand over 50%+ of my money to a woman.

Blue Pill miscers usually bring up chit about loneliness but there's plenty of lonely married and lonely divorced men out there.

My mind is always blown when socially conservative Asians are moving to Cuckistan in huge numbers. But these Asians can rarely read English as well and probably read some glorified Immigration Canada brochure that doesn't mention Canada's extreme left social values and criminal law.

Dave Foley. Guy is hilarious. The court ordered him to pay $10,700 per month for child support for only 2 kids - an amount that he said was literally 400% of his income.

Damn fiance makes more than me. Although we both make decent so no by much. I've already been divorced though wasn't a big deal, had tons of fun after. Went on a while smashing spree over like a 6 year period. This thread sounds like come some cuck cope chit for depressed people who aren't in shape enough to bang after they get left.

It was Tom Leykis who said something like child support doesn't go to your kids. Child support goes towards Jack Daniels and Pizza for whomever is railing her.

Same is technically true for Food Stamps in USA. Worker doesn't need to buy food with their own money so it's more money for lottery tickets, alcohol and smokes.

This cannot be overemphasized. I have had some relationships fall apart because, guess what, good communication means that she will tell me something like "I want to have kids and then never go back to work" and I can say "I will never have kids with someone who wants to stay at home the rest of her life, making me the sole provider out of necessity". It is so important to have these kinds of conversations in a way, even before you are becoming super serious about the person. Some people are far less willing to compromise on certain things in life, and it is delusional to think marrying the person and then having a kid with them is the best way to change their mind.

This flawed thinking has created such damaged childhoods for so many people.

At some point, we need to come up with some kind of social contract other than the concept of marriage being a lifetime thing. Something two people can sign every few years. I think more people would be apt to take a chance on a relationship if they could do it for say a 3-7 year term.

Eh, neither of these is really true. Most single moms need the financial support. The problem is that courts make the payments way too high in many cases.

Yeah it's crazy how the relationships can change from one extreme end (loving eachother) to another (hating eachother). I get it, after so much time people get annoyed and want something new. But do you really have to destroy the other in the proces? I had some friends who I knew for 20 years. Then over time they/I changed and we weren't besties anymore. Still, I wouldn't wish to see them hurt (and I assume they don't either) just because we're not on that same level as before. We're still friendly and want good things for eachother. Why should a couple be any different?

I have great respect for couples that can settle divorces as friends.

According to NJ's alimony laws the wife could get it if they stayed together for a shorter amount of time. But since they were married for a little over 20 years, she's set for life. Absolutely terrifying to think about this scenario. All I want to do is find a down to earth girl.
I wish I could no-fault quit my job, but have the government force them to keep me living at the standard I was used to while working for them. I get the office space, and a large fraction of their profits. That would suit me just fine. I'd quit my job for almost no reason if I had that as an exit strategy. I'd quit out of boredom. I'd quit to work a part time job off the clock. I'd quit and travel. I'D QUIT.

This is why the divorce laws need a rework. If I was a woman I'd fukkin take it too

Not really. We just need the legal aspects of marriage to go away (hospital visitation, filing taxes together, honestly there's not much else). Make it so you can sign a form to do those things with anyone (side effect: gay marriage dispute disappears). Then leave marriage as it always was: a religious/personal institution that has nothing to do with the government.

The biggest barrier to a non-government marriage is people (women) viewing NOT getting married as a lack of commitment. In many cases it is a sign, but actually getting married does not do anything to change your level of commitment. There's nothing binding about modern marriage anyway. It's exactly the same argument as bitcoin...
"bitcoin doesn't have real value" -- "your real money doesn't have real value either" -- Head explodes.
"just living together and having a wedding doesn't make us committed for life" -- "legal marriage doesn't do anything to change that" -- Head explodes

Disclaimer, am legally married. Not anti-marriage in any way. Still would have had a wedding, I'm just anti government involvement. But I didn't try to push the issue on my new wife.

Thats the thing with women, they just complain about the things that don't benefit them in society but zero complaint about anything that benefits them; i.e. divorce settlements, diversity quotas to name a few.

Classic miscer thinking. This doesn't happen frequently because women in general make less then men but the gap will close more and it will happen more and more often. A co-worker of mine has a wife who works in Equity Research and she makes 2x the amount he does.
