Misc - Mostly males growing up in a culture that abolished gender roles a long time ago but would like them back, at least subconsciously.

I can see why you're not seeing eye to eye as the idea of one man raising a child (and supporting a wife) on a single wage has long been lost, but can't you at least appreciate she's advocating gender roles? And roxy as much as I commend you for wanting the man to work his damn'dest to support a family, the American model no longer propagates that.

Or am I missing something in between the vitriol being tossed at both ends.

I know how things are in Romania and the popular opinion on this forum that eastern european women do not work, but it is not true, so many of our mothers work 2 jobs.I do not expect a man to provide everything for a child or wife, I am in Netherlands because of a university scholarship, so be sure that I work a lot for what I want. I've been through some things until this age, so many of 1st world citizens can not comprehend the daily struggles of a 3rd world country, therefore they do not understand that in my eyes they have no f**king excuse for being broke. We are talking about grown azz men that prefer to hear " she will be loyal even if you afford only bread" instead of "get some new skills, be autodidact, study, improve" cause it actually requires effort and *******s hate working.


One of the biggest dislike for me is to see whining *******s when others made it from dust.


From what I said they could only understand that I want him to support his gf, not that I sent them both back to school.

Anyway, thanks for your input, in some ways you are right

Nothing really wrong with her logic, she just didn't put it in the right wording

If I'm making $100/yr I wouldn't date a girl working at McDonald's unless she fits my criteria. My main criteria would be as long as she has a solid plan on getting out of poverty, then I'd be fine dating.

I'll put it in another way. I'd rather be with someone that's with me for my money rather than my height (not that anyone would be; manlet crew)

Because money is something I had to actually work for and improve myself on, where as height is just something you are born with.


Really messed up that everyone is bagging that poster for saying guys should have a decent job, but when people demand a guy is six foot it's "it's ok to have preferences"
