For what it's worth, a guy in the 60s went for 382 days not eating any food. Only Multivitamins and potassium tablets- he went from 456 to 180 pounds.. and only gained ~11 pounds in the following 5 years.
It was a well documented & monitored experiment.

Somewhere along the line we developed this nonsensical idea that grazing all waking hours is good for you, cause it keeps blood sugar stable.
That's BS because the blood sugar being "stable" is still constantly unnecessarily high, and over the long term that'll have an impact on you, on top of exhausting your digestive organs.
Before modern agriculture people weren't eating all day every day, they were eating big feasts once in a while, small meals, and going longer stretches without eating at all.

30 days in a row? no.
He'll get brain fog within a week and become lethargic. Good luck going to work like that for almost a whole month.

What noticeable benefits did you see after the fast? More energy? Clearer skin? Healthier hair? Etc?
Also, do you guys have any links for any websites you recommend checking out on fasting? I've been doing a 24 hour fast once a week and its pretty epic. I seem to be "in the zone" once i get past the initial hunger pains. Its hard to explain, but its pretty insane.

Try 2-3 days and build on that, you're actually better of fasting 2 consecutive days a week or so.
Don't go check out fasting sites either they're mainly just a bunch of anorexic weirdos on them.
As for physical activity, highly unlikely after the first couple days, you're not gonna be tired but you're also not gonna feel the same vigor that you normally would.
You can do everything you normally would but not with the same "ummph" as you normally would.
As for what to do I sometimes go for long walks to get over the boredom, many times I'm just reading or watching videos in bed, helps to keep yourself warm.

A kid on Youtube documented 30 days of fasting. Said it wasnt that bad after 4 or 5 days. His body even ate up any scars he had because it would use whatever it could for energy. If you go too long your body starts eating its own organs.

In my personal experience, I've gone 10 days. The first two days are very tough, particularly around meal-time (which is at night for me). Hunger comes in waves, though. You get very hungry but it passes. I don't usually eat in the mornings, so when I wake up I'm usually wired and not hungry at all.
Some people fast water only (or even dry fasts without anything, which you can do for a handful of days.. I haven't) but for me coffee when you're fasting it just Godly. I feel euphoric, a absolutely get a rush of endorphins from coffee when I'm fasted.
One thing that helps me though hunger pain - I remind myself that it's hormonal. The hormone grehlin is what makes you feel hungry. When your body releases it, if you pass through that phase without eating, afterwards there is a burst of Growth Hormone. I personally fast for the benefits of Auto****y AND for the benefits of increases growth hormone (not necessarily for bodybuilding purposes, which I don't think the spike is enough to do much with, especially not eating, but growth hormone is tremendously beneficial for just wanting to feel and be young). So, in my mind, that hunger pain is helping me achieve my end goal -- so it's now a little easier to suffer through it.
Energy? You tire out quick but usually a short rest helps out. Expect to sit down a lot. I wouldn't push it with too much laborious activity, although I'm actually about 48 hours into a fast as I type this and plan to hit the gym tonight for a little cardio, calisthenics and time in the sauna. Odds are I'll poop out quick and hit the sauna after 30-45 minutes but who knows.
Edit: reading the thread let me add some more insight/opinion here...
- minerals shouldn't break a fast. Some of the "electrolyte" supplements I've seen have calories though, so just be careful. I wouldn't ingest more than 15 calories in an hour and no more than 50 in an entire day -- and honestly, I'd keep it at zero if possible. Coffee has trace calories I believe, that's all I get any from with a couple cups a day on most days. Multivitamins should be zero and fine.
- drink water when thirsty, unless you're doing a dry fast. I don't recommend that to anyone though, it's a lot trickier and more dangerous.
- salt and potassium are your main Go-Tos with minerals, also look into zinc and magnesium. Don't overdo the magnesium ever, you will **** like a goose. Salt should come from a good source, sea salt or that pink stuff.
- In the first few days, if you aren't pre-ketogenic going into a fast, your body is switching from using glucose to ketones for fuel. You're going to drop a lot of water weight as the glucose stored in your body (muscles and liver) are used up. This flushes your system and you lose electrolytes, which can make you feel like ****, and this is why it's not a bad idea to supplement. I'm personally eating ketogenically right now, been fasting about 48 hours and not supplementing with anything and feel fine.
- You will regain a lot of weight when you end the fast, so don't get too crazy about any scale gains. Once you eat more carbs, your body stocks back up on them and retains water. Easy come, easy go. You may lose 1/2 a pound more or less of real weight in a day, but my experience has been that I always gain weight back after 3-8 day fasts. Fat loss has never been a long term goal of any of my fasts, though, so I'm not particularly careful about re-introducing food back into my diet. Maybe someone else can get more mileage out of that than I do if they pay closer attention.
- Day 3 for me, when I wasn't pre-ketogenic, has been absolutely brutal in the past. I now realize it was my body switching over to ketones and it's ****ING MISERABLE. I've ended several fasts day 3 because I thought I was getting sick. Keep that in mind and supplements, salt and stuff are said to help here.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
- Arthur Schopenhauer

I'm currently on the last day of a 7 day water fast.
I was more interested in the detox/cleansing aspects of fasting, but to be honest, I've not really noticed any difference in the way I feel.
I've lost 12 pounds and will likely be at 14 pounds by the time I wake up tomorrow and begin eating again.
I've only drank spring/mineral water... no 'snake juice'. Days 2-4 I had major lack of energy. Also the last few days I've been losing my balance somewhat when on my feet but my energy levels haven't been too bad. I've had the odd hunger pangs everyday but nothing too severe.
I can't say I would recommend it but I suppose the only way to see if it benefits you is to try it for yourself.
