jelly of all you guys seeing Slayer. Last time I saw them was with Megadeth, was awesome. Wish they were coming closer, just don't have time for a road trip.

Main one on my radar is the Whitechapel/Black Dahlia Murder show, I may go to that depending on what I have going that night.

Going to Slayer in Austin next week. They are playing in Orlando which is ~3 hours from me but a buddy has an extra pit ticket and I've never been to Austin. Should be nuts.

Saw Kendrick on his DAMN tour (one of the better concerts I've been to in recent time. Dope as fuk)
Will see Arctic Monkeys later this year, and maybe Andrea Bocelli as well.
Unfortunately exams has made it impossible for me to attend festivals this year.
Real Madrid, Miami Heat, New York Jets.

If you're already a fan it'll be great no doubt. They are having an Anjunadeep event in SF in August I think. I've traveled across the US many times to see them. Probably my most viewed artist next to Prydz and AvB

Right on. I'd like to go to Dreamstate SF one of these days which is around the same time. A&B were in my backyard last year, kicked myself for not grabbing tickets. A couple miscers went and said it was great.

I've heard Dreamstate is the best event anyone has ever gone to (friend reviews), so I would definitely check that out. I've also heard Luminosity is great as well, so I'll be going to that in a few weeks. Maybe I'll see you at Dreamstate SF, but no guarantees.

Going to see them Friday. Yes it is their final tour, fam.

Always was a crazy metal fnatic and am like a kid at heart when it comes to it! I love that they have dug up the bodies of the great TESTAMENT, and legendary Anthrax and I hear Anthrax got Belladonna back and not Bush (whom I did like on SoWN).

Lamb of God (formerly Burn The Priest) I never cared too much about on CD, but hear they're flatout sick live so cool cool. Everyone is going to kill it this night!

Re: Mosh: The best time i was in the pit was I think Pantera, Soulfly and Morbid Angel. I was out of control, and out of my mind, young and wild on 2 substances I cannot name onhere + 1 fordie oz of beer + about a pack and a half of Camel Red cigs. That sh*t was brutal. It was...oh wait it was actually my birthday. The tix were a gift from my friends. I was turning 21!!!!! I remember that, because it was my gift, and I was pissed off at my sister because I thought she forgot about my birthday. Well, it turns out she just didn't mention it or get me anything for it. It was a fun one though.

Hope to act young, out of control and wild again only not on any substances, alcohol, or tobacco this time!

Thanks for showing me to this thread OP.

I met Jacoby Shaddix at a restaurant in Sacramento couple years ago. Super friendly guy for someone being interrupted while trying to eat pizza with his friends.

Um yeah!! Saw Slayer at their farewell tour with Lamb Of God and Anthrax on the 29th. Going to see GBH Wednesday night. I love shows for the energy and the dope people you meet, along with the fact that I know I'm helping to support bands that I love. Getting to meet bands is a plus.

Don't even think I could make a proper list lol I've met Devildriver, Archspire (went to band practise with them), lead singer of Gorguts, Skeletonwitch, Scepticflesh, Amon Amarth, and lots of locals like Sylvus, Vesperia, Thantifaxath, The 3Tards etc. etc.

The concert I was at (one about my sis and my 21 bday) on that night MrBourbon turned the wee young age of 19. We share a birthday I don't know if I ever mentioned it.

Last metal concert for me was Nightwish a few years ago, not with Tarja but It blew me away seeing Floor sing live.

I couldn't pass this one Slayer up, I'd have flown to it. Slayer's final concert! How can any metalhead worth their salt not see them especially their last one?

I took a vid from that Nightwish show that I like to watch sometimes, and Cher you always want to capture the experience, she's pure magic. Far different experience form Slayer but loved Cher, Meatloaf, Billy Joel, The Toadies and Backstreet Boys and stuff like that too. Alien Ant Farm. Willie Nelson 3x!

lawlsfallmute I know of a miscer who slept with one of the members of Archspire.

Going to a rave in July. Great headliners and I'm going to rage all night until the break of dawn. I might see some old friends there that I haven't seen in years. But, if I don't see them I'm going to still have a good time.

Aries and figure are the headliners. Both spin dubstep. Figure is badass. Don't know much about aries.

Ayyyy TDG, fellow Canadians! Cool! Don't know if I'd ever have the patience or credibility to meet 'popular' bands. Rad to hear you have and that they were sweethearts. You never know who's going to be a total jackass or not...

One of the coolest things I got to do was go backstage at a Van Halen show, was freaking awesome. Sammy was the singer at the time, was super cool. Eddie was drunk off of his ass, but he was ripping that guitar, was unreal.

Yassss!!!!! I absolutely love TDG. Adam Gontier is my biggest celeb crush but after taking pics with us he stayed on the bus and didn't hang out outside or come into the hotel bar. Maybe it's a singer issue, because Ben from Breaking Ben was the same way and just seemed arrogant.

Wow, that's pretty amazing!

Ugh that's ****ty, but sadly not surprising? Maybe it was a coincidence and they were having an off day. Or maybe married and not wanting the temptation? Who knows.

Yeah, this was several different shows. Adam wasn't arrogant, he just didn't hang out. All of 3DG is married, nothing untoward was going on. We were all out in the open either outside the buses or in the hotel bar. Either way I have pics of me and Adam <3 lol

It was the 2004 tour. Eddie was in rough shape at the time, he's doing better now I think. It was so awesome to get to meet those guys, my fav rock band ever.

Thread has me watching Slayer vids from the new tour, they are coming about 3 hours from here in St Louis in August, think I'm gonna try to make it. If it's really my last chance, I'll be kicking myself if I don't. They are one of the big 4, hate to see them go. There will be a time when Megadeth and Metallica hang it up as well, sucks getting old. Seeing LOG will be a bonus, they are good too.
