It is mental illness. Srs. Anyone who says that they would save their pet over another human being is mentally ill.

EDIT: Unless the human being is some proper piece of chit serial killer or something.

Also, to be fair, dogs can and do kill people. Additionally, if you are looking at this from the perspective of our respective species, they do kill and rape each other. I'm sure if they were wild, they would be far more destructive to each other than humans.

Incapable of evil? I love my dogs, but they are evil by their very nature. They catch animals and rip them to pieces. Even when it is unnecessary, as they get fed very well. They just kill for the fun of it when they can.

Hell, I'd go as far to say that if you were reduced to the size of bunny rabbit, they would eat you too, regardless of "muh loyalty".

But as it stands, they are also great companions to me and good friends.. but not "incapable of evil".

Flipside, if me and some dog were drowning in a river, and the guy swam out and saved his dog, I wouldn't be mad at him at all. If he saved me I'd be feeling bad for pupper and would feel extreme guilt for him losing his pupper.
1. Put a bowl of food out in front of two dogs that are unfamiliar with eachother. See if they share it together, or one fat kunt tries to take it all. It is in our biological nature to be selfish. I'd go further and say that dogs are in fact more selfish than people, as we have the ability to use logic and reason to make unselfish decisions. You are just not hurt as badly by your dogs selfish decisions, because; a) the gravity of the decision (sealing your dinner is not that bad), and b) you understand your dog cannot help making such selfish decisions as it is in its nature.

2. That is fuking bullchit. You would be fuking raging if they saved their dog over you. In that moment you literally wouldn't give a **** about the dog.

Dogs are the loyalest creatures on Earth, loyal to a fault even. Not much I let rustle me but when I see a dog mistreated it really upsets me.

A dog is innocent and aside from being a glutton it is selfless in it's actions and lives to serve its master.

lol son. If your dog got really hungry, it would fuking eat you if it could. If you were in a situation where it was you or your dog, the dog would choose itself every time. If you were both starving and you were too weak to defend yourself, it would have you for lunch.

"selfless in it's actions". ilmaooooooooooooooooo. ilmaooooooooooooooooo. They would kill other animals for fun 24/7 if they could. They are selfish by their nature.

I agree OP..AND I think 10/10 those people just like to say that to sound "different" OR like they have a HUGE heart, when in fact they are choosing an animal over another human which makes them sound completely stupid. I have a dog and 2 cats that I love. Never wanted them. I dont need animals in my life. BUT my wife and kids think they have to have animals..Again,I love them and they worship me cause I love on them all the time and feed them and play with them..BUT..if it came down to saving a human over an animal the animal would lose every time..
!!!!DONT LIKE ME?..DONT AGREE!!!...DONT CARE!!!!..."drops mic"...PEACEOUT!!!

There is no morality, no objective right or wrong. It's all pointless, the only meaning in life is the one we invent ourselves. Everyone dies, it doesn't matter if you save the dog or the person. No one is under any obligation to look out for anyone else.

Yeah I'd save my dog over some random idiot, because that person probably has a better chance of surviving on his own than my dog does. I can understand how my dog would be an idiot and fall through the ice or something, but a person doing that? Lmao, he should know better.
Without the internet i feel like a small rock on the mountain.

Dog owners will say this, whilst happily hunting wild animals and laughing at people who get upset about them shooting a deer etc.

I wonder how they would react if someone shot their dog whilst out hunting, and put its head on their wall.

I am not against hunting at all, and can understand people choosing a human over a dog, but it's just amusing where people choose to "draw the line" with regards to how they treat animals, what they eat etc

What are the odds of that human doing something great? How many doctors do you know? How many inventors do you know? The majority of people are largely average, and will not contribute anything great to humanity. There were 31 dog related fatalities in the US in 2016...There were 17,250 homicides in the same year...But dogs would treat each other worse? Even if they were all wild, the stats speak for themselves...Humans treat each other like chit.

Done.

So the fact that you've improperly socialized your dogs is on them? This is aiken to a person locking there kid in the basement and then attacking the first person that tries to give them a hug. Maybe if you took your dogs around one of these animals it would learn that it's not prey, and not kill it.

If your dog tried to hurt me or someone else, I would hurt it. You mad?

And you had the nerve to talk about mental illness. Not deter the attack. Not stop the attack...But "hurt it"

I want to post pics of dog attacks victims here, but I don't want to get banned for gore. lulz.

Are any of those pictures more graphic than human atrocities against each other? Mass graves in Africa? Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombings? Holocaust? Etc. Are you fuking serious?

1. Put a bowl of food out in front of two dogs that are unfamiliar with eachother. See if they share it together, or one fat kunt tries to take it all. It is in our biological nature to be selfish. They do this all the time...It's called behavioral analysis. This is how dogs are evaluated for adoption. Dogs are capable of sharing. Now place 2 strangers in a room, with a loaded gun and a briefcase full of cash...What's going to happen? The chances of them sharing the cash is about the same as one dog taking the lion share of the food

2. That is fuking bullchit. You would be fuking raging if they saved their dog over you. In that moment you literally wouldn't give a **** about the dog.

Do you understand why people would save the dog over the human? You use reasoning and logic in parts of your argument, but can't grasp that more than likely the human was there out of some idiotic decision making. The dog would be there because of A. My human error, or B. His lack of understanding of the situation at hand. Unless it was a young child, then naturally, and instinctively you would save the child.

lol son. If your dog got really hungry, it would fuking eat you if it could. If you were in a situation where it was you or your dog, the dog would choose itself every time. If you were both starving and you were too weak to defend yourself, it would have you for lunch.

If you were starving, and your dog was too weak to defend itself, would you not eat it? Srs question, because you seem to believe you're above anything any other animal is/ or isn't

"selfless in it's actions". ilmaooooooooooooooooo. ilmaooooooooooooooooo. They would kill other animals for fun 24/7 if they could. They are selfish by their nature.

Humans pay top dollars for canned big game hunts

"loveless biterless pieces of sh!t". Nah bro, I'm just not a lunatic who pisses over logic and reason because of my emotional attachments to my dogs.
The fact that you think dogs are more selfish or violent than humans is just flat out wrong. You use faulty logic, in an attempt to make yourself seem edgy. Two dogs who are complete strangers will literally yank your arm off in an attempt to say hi to one another, and people walk by each other without even a glance.

Its the people that call their pets their "fur-babies" that would save it over a human.

Here's a scenario;

Lets say you're at a rest home visiting a relative and you suddenly hear screaming in the courtyard out back where there's a large frozen lake. You go outside and see that an old person (a complete stranger) struggling to swim in the frozen lake was in a small boat that capsized. Along with the old man was your dog that you brought with you that was also struggling in the water. Your dog is 12 years old which is about the same age as the old man in dog years. They are an equal distance away from the shore. They've been in the water for a long time so you only have time to jump in and save one of them and all the people around you (which has now become an audience of on-lookers) are all too old to get into that freezing water. Who do you save? Even if you have the stamina, if you save one, the other would sink below the surface, and its already dusk so you wouldn't be able to see them under the murky slushed water to retrieve them.

IDK about you guys, but i'm saving the human, and thats because your dog would WANT you to save the other human over itself.

That's not the question. The question is would you save a random person? Not a grandparent, or an aging parent. A random complete stranger.

Think about the bigger picture....

Where would the human race be right now if we gave a fuk about our fellow man rather than our pets?

Food for thought.

Saving my dog!

Dog >>> Random old kunt.

Old kunt should have known better to be in a boat in a frozen lake LMAO.

Darwin takes another.

Also I wouldn't be retarded to have a relative in a rest home where they have access to boats on frozen lakes...smh who would get into that situation?

Ah I read that wrong. Doesn't change anything...I'm going out to grab my dog. If there's enough time I'll go back for the old person. If not... Oh well.

Dogs are great. I have one. When they die, you grieve them, but then life goes on and you get a new dog.

If i had to choose between my dogs life and the person YOU love the most in the world i would spare the stranger, not the animal.

I can get over a dead dog.

To be fair most medium-large pack breed dogs would go to greater lengths to protect you then any human. I'm not saying your yorcky would but most real dogs would. One could also say your dog loves you more then any human outside your parents love you.

Furthermore YOUR dog has value to YOU, where as a random person have 0 value to you. A random person represents someone from another tribe, basically someone you would be at war with thousands of years ago. In fact your dog thousands of years ago would be helping you wage war against this random person. It's no suprise that most people would choose a dog over a random person. Right or wrong? doesn't matter, it's instinctual.

Of course this is speaking again about real dogs, EX: german shepard.

not our fault you dont understand the connection you can have with a pet. Its actually more about how you're raised, environmental exposure, not some mental disorder. You should probably be a little more educated before using such large font AND bold, it makes you look dumb, like actually low IQ.

this. Its simple.. every single person that i have ever heard say it has no kids. Is that hard to understand? If you would leave your children parent-less over your pet then you should give them up for adoption so you dont risk that trauma in their life.
