I used to love kung fu comedies when I was growing up. Especially Kung Pow and Shaolin Soccer.

I really enjoyed Blackhat by Michael Mann (staring Chris Hemsworth). Interesting plot, absolutely STUNNING visuals - probably up there with James Bond as kings of scenery in action movies. Maybe the story feels a little dragged or rushed at times but that's it. It's also a story about a computer engineer badass so maybe I'm a little biased

Silver Linings Playbook made $236.4 million at the box office. It cost $21 million to make. That's not a flop at all. Very successful movie and well received by both critics and audiences. Jennifer Lawrence won the Oscar for Best Actress.

Once upon a time in America.

Sergio Leone quit making movies after it. It was reduced and timing chamged rendering it awful. When 're released at 4ish hours and the scenes in Sergios original order it is an absolute masterpiece.

Sergio Leone and ennio morricone are pure perfection together.

Ghost in the Shell flopped because they took really poignant and thought provoking source material and turned it into an utterly forgettable, near future sci fi flick. If it really flopped because of the "liberals," then Dr. Strange should have flopped as well.

I was not expecting The Man from U.N.C.L.E. to be such a fun spy movie, and it turned out to be far fresher than the recent Bond movies and it also showed how underutilized Henry Cavil has been as Superman.

But my most recent pick would have to go to The Nice Guys with Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe.

Dunewas a very expensive film that had great potential, an excellent all-star cast, a great director (David Lynch), but was a colossal flop due to cuts and edits and too many hands in the director's pot. So much so that DL wanted his name removed as director of the film.
