Ever since Visa pulled from Wavecrest it's been downhill ever since. I hate spectators thinking it's going some where when it's actually NOT.

Definitely invest in your own business first, but if you want to learn about crypto I suggest doing some legitimate homework that only you can do. Don't listen to news outlets because they sensationalize everything. There are tons of forums and subreddits. It's nowhere near as scammy as its made out to be but its also in it's infancy and not without its own set of issues that need to be overcome. Blockchain technology is most definitely not going to go away whether bitcoin survives or not.

This was fairly common knowledge TBH. Not in such detail, but the fact that dark web users have been utilizing cryptos for shady transactions was there from the very beginning.

Completely agree that the outlets are bullchit. I only posted what I briefly read as to acquire more accurate answers rather than doing hours of research. But I will be looking more into it as it is here to stay. But investing into the business is more of a priority.

I read that once before. I was skeptical and guess what I did? I did some real research on my own, signed up on Coinbase. Bought one LTC, held onto it for a few days, sold it and sent that money to my bank account. Guess what, the deposit went though. I did more research on how crypto worked. That one LTC I bought for test purposes was $65. By the time I completed my research and decided to put a few grand in, LTC was $172.

Just remember, this is gambling. Prepare for zero but you might make some serious gains.

Is it a bubble, pyramid scam, etc? I don't believe so but I can see how people think that. No one knows what crypto will be. I view it as maybe it's a once in a life time deal to make some serious gains. I would be more pissed not putting anything in and watching it go to a million than putting money in and watching it go to zero. I like high risk high reward gambling personally. I'm not balls deep and can afford to lose what I have in it.

It's not that it's hard to sell. It's what I posted a few pages back. It's hard to sell when you deal with large sums, which helps keep btc from crashing hard. A lot of the common wallets and exchanges only allow you to cash out a certain amount a day/week. There are ones that can do more, as someone said 100k a day, but your average trender most likely are on the platforms where it's closer to 15k a week.

No, it’s not the same at all. You don’t have the entirety of the Internet on your computer. Illegal content exists somewhere out there on a server or whatever other host. You break the law when you access it and the hosts are already breaking the law.

The entirety of a blockchain has to exist and be possessed by the network of peers managing the blockchain. So if you throw illegal or malicious crap into a blockchain, it’s possessed by all of those peers

Bitcoin was worth $100 at its lowest point in 2013. If he offered you 3000 Bitcoins then he offered you $405k for a 300zx. More likely he offered you $3000 worth of bitcoin for your car. If at low point it would be worth $207k right now. Of ATH then it would be about 3 coins and worth about $27k right now.
