Not sure how it works in your country but over here if you work you still get most of the disability cheques as well. Monthly cheque, vast majority of rent paid under disability (plus likely to be living in a nice exclusive disability flat/house).

The only one you lose out on is the standard unemployment welfare which is not much of a loss.
