Red, I've had issues the past few years with sunscreen making me break out in a rash when I use it on my arms and legs. I use Arbonne moisturizer with 15 spf and it doesn't give me a rash on my face (so far). Is the Biore really gentle? Think I should try it? I know I need more than 15 spf especially in summer, but I'm worried about it causing a rash on my face.

Any insight? I've tried all different brands from the cheap stuff to expensive brands from Sephora. I spoke too soon and actually feel like the Arbonne with 15 is making my skin on face look a little less smooth. Same thing happened when I tried the Cerave with Retinol and SPF. So I stopped that and went back to the reg Cerave with no SPF. Am I doomed to having to wear sun hats all summer? I do try to minimize sun exposure on my face but I don't want to have to carry a hat everywhere I go.

You could try eliminating retinos and actives/acids for a week and only cleanse/moisturize. If your skin is still reacting to the sunscreen at that point, it could be an allergy. Otherwise, it's probably that your moisture barrier is weak and you're over-exfoliating.
The sunscreen issue has been happening on my body the past 3 or so years. Makes me break out in a rash and hives sometimes. So I don't think it has to do with this new face regimen I started last fall. For some reason, I could still use moisturizer with SPF on my face, but maybe it's because it's a lower SPF? I just started using the Arbonne with 15 SPF again the past week. I also added The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 30ml at night and changed from Cosrx snail mucin to the Mizon about a week or so ago. Maybe I just need to give my skin time to get used to these new things?
