coincidentally, most my close calls in the road are with female drivers.

Imagine being so stupid that you can't execute a left turn. This happened yesterday...I'm the blue car, she's the white car, and she almost hits me because she took the turn too wide and drifted to my lane.

Maybe it's because you can tell when a guy is gonna do something stupid because he starts driving aggressively. Alot of women just randomly forget traffic rules, like old people.

God damn want a retard. Literally like a drunk driver ffs.

There's definitely a case for manual driving make you more attentive. There's far more considerations you make compared to just "push the pedal and go".

btw you may not agree but drivers in LA seem so much more aware than Norcal. Too much suburbia driving up here makes people less sharp.

This. But beta Dom Torreto wannabes won't understand it

They'll probably try to tell you how their custom air cooled system doesn't allow for engine wear

They'll try to laugh it off on Friday night, when they all meet at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. But the rest of us will be laughing at them..

currently at 25k on my WRX, haven't had a replacement yet. I'll check in in 75k miles when I need my first replacement.

I think with a 4 or 5 speed manual, at least for the ones I have owned, I'd rather drive an auto. But the car I have now with 6-speed manual is far easier to drive in traffic than all the autos I have owned (2 out of think 16 cars). The gearing works out great. For stop & go, I just stay in first and sometimes shift to second. For mostly flowing but slow traffic, I stay at 2nd or 3rd and never have to switch back and fourth from brake to gas when speed varies. Honestly, this is actually easier than using an auto, especially one with decent power since you'll probably surge forward when you gas it.
