Song meanings has been around for a long time and before that music lovers would sit around and talk about the music they liked and what it meant.

You don't do that because the kind of crap you like has no hidden artistic meaning.

And, this stuff isn't my opinion.

If you research what "art" is you will find there's an actual definition. There's also definitions of what's poetic and not.

Someone saying rhythms about pussy, how great they are, and what they bought at the store isn't artistic. If I made a rap about my trip to the supermarket, it might be clever but it's not intellectual and artistic.

Country music suffers from the exact same issues. They are story songs about a few subjects said in plain speech where interpretation is unnecessary.

These are facts, that you never thought about, not opinions.

People have been trying to figure out the meaning of songs since the 50s, so it's not some weird new thing. It is to you though because you don't think about stuff like this.

Five Finger Death Punch is a huge favorite of mine. Marilyn Mason has written a lot of great stuff. The Yeah Yeahs Yeahs made a lot of excellent music.

I have met a LOT of Borderline women, who are white, molested as kids, into drugs, and love gangster rap. The more porno and violent, the better for them. These same women love horror movies and other creepy weirdness.

Rap music appeals to people who are moronic and damaged in some way. The group of people who write it are the most dysfunctional people IN THE WORLD from hellholes located in the richest country ever.

That is odd.

Was it the guy that did hardcore drugs and steroids? I see to recall that.

It's sad when people die, but I've known countless people who died from heroin. A good female friend of mine died from that in March. I wasn't that sad or depressed and didn't want to make tribute to her. That's because she was a drug addict, we talked about it a lot, she knew it could kill you, and she died.

Simple story.

That's a weirdly good point.

But, according to Rob Lowe, she paid a lawyer to "leak" the tape to get money and attention. Even if that's not true, stuff on her level is way different that if some girl playfully made a porn then her ex gave it to people. That's not going to reach millions of people and be a constant thing in your mind and relationship.

Still, if you found out and had to deal with it, it would be much the same.

I doubt I could handle watching my girl have sex with some other dude.

But there are no "genres" of rap music.

There's plenty of rock. There's all kinds of rock that have different sounds, are about different subjects, and it's rich. Rap music doesn't really any major differences and is all one thing.

The mundane lyrics and limited subjects make it boring and stupid. So, people who like it have to be entertained by the mundane and stupid, thus it is music for dull witted people (retards).

I cannot see this in any other way.

If you really wanted you could call that a non rhyming poem about how I made dinner, but it's not really, I'm just being pretentious calling it that. If people loved my fake poem, I'd really call into question their view.

Realism is great if it's detailed. For instance, Public Enemy made raps about political subjects, so that's real and meaningful, so that's cool. But, current rap tends to be about bragging, sex, being angry at people, crime. These are overly mundane like my poem about dinner.

What you keep bringing up is mainstream rap music, which keep in mind is either getting the green light from radio station managers or not.

There are things like "conscious rap", "nerd rap", etc. that you clearly don't even know exist, sub-genres of the overall genre of rap.

I think he's a retard too, but he's definitely an artist. Some of his chit pushes the boundaries of what music is 'supposed' to be. Sometimes it'll make you feel uncomfortable, sometimes you'll think it's garbage, because it's not what it's meant to be.

Maybe if you were alive in Picasso's time you'd say "Picasso is an idiot, he can't paint properly so he makes this retarded chit, that's not where a nose goes *******", but you aren't now.

Some of Kanye's music is actually chit, but sometimes you gotta appreciate it.
