17 miles of hiking in the woods is a boring as hell and is actually a lot of walking. Ill do 4-5 miles one way, that takes almost an hour. Then we have to go back.

I mean, she probably tired out but lets not pretend looking at rocks and trees is "adventurous". Unless you're passing by unique elevation types and water falls.

She was probably referring to what all girls that say that are..."take me to another country on your dime"

Just as a comparison, the Mount Whitney hike (highest elevation in the US) is 22 miles and about 6000 feet of elevation gain. The amount of people that can do it in one day is incredibly small. Most experienced hikers do it in 2 days, some as many as 3.

And here's OP trying to take some chick who probably rarely hikes on a 17 mile hike in a single day.

Absolute potato.

If OP asked me to go on a 17 mile hike I'd tell him to fuk off.
