Well comic book companies are going to make super hero movies that's what their brand is that's what they do. Everyone else is free to make whatever movies they want. There are dozens/hundreds of movies that come out every year.

Bro go google '2018 movies' and see the horrible list, every year it gets worse..

Where are the movies like Fight Club, American History X, Prestige, Troy, Inception etc.. Just good story lines, non lazy writing, good acting and no excessive CGI.. There hasn't been a movie that takes me on a trip and mind fuks me at the end in a long time.. Literally the only good movie I've seen this year was Upgrade..

Deadpool, while it referenced MCU (final fight was on a crashed SHIELD Helicarrier) isnt MCU. Fox movies aren't MCU yet, nor any Sony movie minus Spidey Homecoming (Venom isnt)

In a time where we're surrounded by seemingly nothing but old movie reboots, feminist takes, or just plain dumb movies, you're really going to complain about original (at least for movie adaptation) stories that have been developing for over a decade? These are easily some of the (if not just THE) most impressive and cohesive series of movies ever accomplished. They appeal to a wide audience and and even have a touch of nostalgia for people that liked super heroes as kids. If you don't like the super hero genre (really Marvel genre at this point) that's fine. But you're dumb if you can't tell why people like them.
