I'm telling you right now, if you pull coconut oil it will help your gums reattach to your teeth.
Brush your teeth, floss them, get them cleaned at the dentist and then oil pull.
You need to somehow get teeth cleaned to give your gums a clean surface to attach to.

You lose bone as you get older. It's natural and your teeth are not going to fall out any time soon.So I've been bad and haven't been to a dentist in two years... until today. I thought all was well until they told me I have periodontal disease. It means bone and tissue starts to erode until your teeth fall out. It can apparently be halted in its tracks, but.....It's incurable, hence for life
Feeling pretty down boyos. I'd do anything to turn the clock back, my lack of conscientiousness will be the death of me. They said it was not severe though... but this sucks big time
Any advice/ thoughts? Any dentistbrahs want to weigh in?

Try doing keto or zero carb for a while and see if you notice an improvement. Vitamin K2 is only found in animals, plants contain K1.

In 2010 47.9% of people had this, so basically half the population. Welcome to still being a regular person.
Also of note, half of people aren't missing all their teeth, so I assume if you take care of them you'll probably be fine

Sorry to hear but like mentioned there are measures you can take. Thanks anyway because you've reminded me I need to get my brushing and flossing frequency back into check.

Also, do you rinse with a mouthwash? I hope so for your significant other's sake.

Dude I turned my teeth game around 180. I got a sick philips tooth brush with a timer, Invisalign and a cleaning every 6 months. I had 10 cavities, needed a root canal and an implant before I started this lol. Youโll be fine just step ur game up

Like if you were only gonna do one, I'd say floss your teeth.
At the same time too much flossing can be bad.
Brushing your teeth is kinda overrated TBH, not nearly as helpful as flossing.

Brushing is literally only half the battle. Flossing is arguably even more important

Man sorry to hear that. I've always been really concerned with my oral health and ironically i have dipped for years. I guess one halfway decent side effect of my nicotine addiction has been going to the dentist every 6 months for a cleaning and flossing/brushing like a mad man. Hope they can stop it man. Best of luck.

I was lucky and didn't have any cavities or disease. The dentist seemed amazed it had been that long since I had been. Good luck OP all you can do now is take care of them the best you can. I would definitely get a 2nd opinion though
my teeth are in better shape than my wife's who brushes/flosses, mornings and nights all her life.
also, she grew up in England, so maybe that's why?
