My main side chick has an ex like this, he’s been contacting her for almost a year on everything. Social media, multiple phone numbers, eBay, Pinterest, methods I never even knew existed. I just act like I don’t care because I don’t. Her best friend had a psycho ex as well so my chick went to court with her to get a restraining order on him. I'm guessing you guys haven't been dating very long based on his persistence. I would very calmly sit your girl down and say "Either you deal with this, or we're done, because I don't deal with this type of drama.".

This type of behavior would freak out a normal girl, and she would have exhausted all the potential options to make it stop. Her blocking, and then re-engaging are nothing more than speed bumps. It makes it look like she's making an effort to stop it, but she knows it will just make him more persistent. isnt' OP's job to contact the cops or get involved to that level. this isn't his wife. that's all up to her.

odds are really through the roof that she is entertaining these messages in some form and then playing victim afterwards. if a girl wants somebody to go away in 2018 it is very easy. delete/block/new phone or police. all that is on her plate she has options.

OP's only option is to trust the girl or perhaps give an ultimatum that if she doesn't figure this out right now he is going to back off for a bit because this is all obviously fishy.
