Im honored that people think doctors can fix anything, and there if we dont it must be a bad doctor but some people are too jacked up to fix. And people should keep that in mind for themselves and take care of their body.

Most men on the face of this earth will be born and die while never achieving half of the fame and glory Ronnie "light weight baby" Coleman has... To some leaving their mark in the history books...albeit this one is the bodybuilding history book... is far more important than living a boring , tame, safe life.. which might I add could end tomorrow at a moments notice while most of us are forgotten.... Dude gave it everything he had to reach the top... this is the price he has to pay for that glory. I am willing to bet he wouldn't change $hit

What surgeries did he have? Honestly if he had a bad surgeon it could very well be the case, tho it’s still the weights that caused him to need the surgery, but if he’s worse off after surgery then fok
ok

I'm telling ya'll.........
stop with the deadlifts. all it takes is simple mistakes in your form.... and you ruin your back. A LOT OF PEOPLE are doing them incorrectly and don't even know it yet. you guys are destroying your spines and don't know it yet because you are young and can abuse your body.
you don't have any nerves in your spinal discs. and all that constant unnatural weight on your spine crushes your spinal discs every single time you do it, and you will start to weaken them and can even get a degenerative condition in your spinal discs...... you could be chugging along thinking everything is fine until the fateful day comes and pop...... now your discs are bulging, injured, etc......
it's just too risky a lift IMO. your spine is worth it's weight in gold.

Look, I like lifting as much as most on this forum. And I enjoy lifting heavy weights, too. But you are straight up delusional if you don't think we'll all eventually suffer some consequences by lifting heavy ass weights for 20-30 years, especially without making some signficant adjustments to how we do it as we age. Ronnie was among the absolute GOAT ever and I respect what he accomplished in lifting, but let's be real about all this. Anyone who does any physical activity that rigorously for decades will eventually see some significant wear and tear on their bodies for it.

i see people doing deadlifts and i shake my head. they don't know the damage they are doing to their spines. i know what back pain is like.... i've seen strong, tough military men, tough guys, fall to the knees, tears falling from their eyes in silent pain, unable to even move an inch, due to severe back pain. all you need to do is have bad form, and boom, you ruin your back. its such a risky thing to do
no way in hell i'm going out like that. it's better to exercise safely and lift weights in a safe manner.

Probably had a stroke by now or something srs

He’s the king of bodybuilding. Worth it in my opinion.
Bench: 115 x 1
Squat: 95 x 2
Deadlift: 135 x 2
Doesn't even lift makes fun of people on bodybuilding site crew.
Informs you that your PR doesn't count due to "bad form" crew.

Better than your average American man who does a 9-5 for 50 years, gets 2 divorces, gets fat and can barely walk up stairs without getting winded or do anything with their body by 40 anyways

I don't know what Cutler has been up to since his Olympia days, but if he is still trying to carry that ridiculous amount of mass into his 50's, he'll eventually have some issues too.

Cliffs over time:
Surgeries were done improperly by a less than good Doc plus the general wear and tear of oids and lifting. Screws were too long or too short and messed him up.

He said it started from an intense neck workout and slept on it wrong on a plane. I think his crazy lifting regiment along with the other chit he was abusing lead to the chitty back problems he has had.
For fukk sakes, his finishing move was the putting heavy ass wrestlers on his back and bounce up and down.
