California because of the liberals /gun control laws.

California is like a fast growing cancer. It is quickly spready to Washington and Oregon. I am going to hate living here soon.

Alaska. Cold and expensive

Don't understand all CA hate. I don't like liberals either but that doesn't keep me from wanting to live here. It's not as black and white as people make t out to be. This state is amazing.

I read that about 80% of the kids in public school are in families at or below the poverty line. And cali acts like they're economically prosperous simply because of hollywood and tech giants. The rest is filled with poverty.

Our economy is the 5th largest in the world; the problem is we burn through money like it's nothing. It is legit embarrassing how we manage to waste this much money.

Any state but California.

It is funny that non Americans pay so much attention to America. I’m a pretty well traveled person and I can barely name a few of the provinces in Canada much less Australia. Couldn’t name your political leaders either.

Other than chuckling at my state income tax and the frequent looney headlines, CA politics has zero impact on me. It’s all worth it to have GOAT food, weather, scenery, nightlife, everything.

But if it wasn't for the taxes gleaned from hollywood/entertainment industry and the tech giants, where would cali rank? It's mostly blind luck that those industries are there. I just find it amusing that people from CA brag about it like it's something they accomplished - I see that quite a bit. I'd much rather live somewhere with way less crime, pollution and cost of living.

WAS.

Everything's stupidly expensive. Taxes on everything. People openly chitting and urinating in downtown Sacramento and San Francisco. Chitty roads, despite that stupid gas tax. No 2A rights. I live out in the country and am beginning to see fukking transients even out here. LOL at the homeless camp along the back 9 of Haggin Oaks, but people act like it's a perfectly normal thing for there to be a homeless camp right next to a golf course. This state's a fukking joke.

You can always tell the non-outdoorsmen because they list states like those as "boring". Which is cool with me. Don't want a bunch of dandies out there taking up space.

Why does everyone keep saying Florida?? The only reason you get all of the stories is because of the sunshine laws and large diverse population of the state. Guaranteed if California or New York had those same laws you would see even more ridiculous stories.

Disclaimer: I don't not nor have I ever lived in Florida but visited many times to many different parts of the state and really like it. Jacksonville and Orlando are probably my least favorite parts with the panhandle down through Tampa being my favorites

I'll check in for NM.

The entire state is terrible if you want to have a social life.
If you want to work in movies/tv but hate LA then this is the best place to be right now.
Everything south of Albuquerque is a chit hole.
Everything north is fantastic if you love the outdoors. Skiing is some of the best in the country. Endless amounts of hiking/camping/fishing.
Housing is very affordable and traffic is rarely a problem.
We have tons and tons of casinos.

Other than that its pretty fuking boring.
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....

i need to cut... badly.
