You are making the correct move OP.
This whole argument of wasting people's time is invalid. This is America. Adults have the capacity to know whether their time is being wasted or not.
In my opinion, the time wasted argument is a symptom of glass half empty syndrome. Think of it as you gave her 10 months of extra time she wouldn't have had otherwise. That's the kind of mindset a person with high self-esteem would have. If everyone had this mindset, world growth would occur, srs. Everyone wouldn't be so needy all the time.
You're 100% in the right for seeking a higher calling, brah.

I worked with a smoking hot girl who I'm amazed graduated college. She didn't know how many states there were, what our neighboring states were, had 0 critical thinking skills, would believe anything anyone said, if you talked about any current event, she would tell you this is too complicated for her etc.... Always wondered what her and her husband talked about. She was real fun to talk to in the moment, but damn, ask any questions and you'd see the gears trying to move in her head.

You know why she is sweet - Because she isnt smart enough to be bitter
You know why she is always having a good time - Because she cant bring together all of the facts and figure out this world is shiddy.
Make no doubt ignorance is bliss and some of the happiest and easiest people I've dealt with have been the dumbest.....Be careful what you get rid of OP.

Everyone vents bout their SO at times. Completely different scenarios here.
Also, unless the person you're dating is incredibly dull (IQ around 70, hovering around the borderline of literal mental retardation), it's not THAT crazy to think it could have taken upwards of 10 months to fully realize her below average intelligence was a deal-breaker, especially if everything else about her was pretty good. I mean chit, at 10 months, any semi-healthy or better relationship is still sort of in the ghost of the honeymoon stages, so it's not like he spent a great deal of time knowing it was over and just stuck around for sex on tap for a several months+.
So it begs the question - why are you taking this so personally? At least OP had the decency to cut her loose and let her find someone more fitting for her instead of using her airheaded body as a sex doll long-term. Again, 10 months isn't chit in a relationship in the grand scheme of things.

This might be a mistake. A sweet girl who is dumb is better as a partner, 100% srs. As long as you're intelligent and can take the lead on things like financial management if you got serious together. High intelligence in females usually comes packaged with manipulation and other sociopathic traits.

I also don't understand why you automatically label it as "wasted" time. Evidently, they had at least a good handful of months together. Things didn't work out. Again, it's not like he stuck around for years jusr for sex while knowing it was over. You should understand the dude didn't do anything wrong as someone who claims having a 15 year marriage under their belt.
Though not to talk chit, but I take the relationship advice of previously divorced people with a grain of salt, unless infidelity was specifically the reason why it ended. Sorry, but you're jaded af, and one or both of you and your ex were full of chit when you said your marital vows.

My friend's ex thought Alaska was an island because it was off in the corner of the map. She had also been to Alaska by driving and was trying to say how that doesn't make sense.

Fuk misc I feel bad for the girl. Sounds to me like op was leading the chick on for 10 months, and she was too dumb to realise this (or op is too good at masking his emotions). Best thing you can do op is end it as soon as you can

I've ended a conversation with a girl after she tried to argue with me saying Chicago was its own state. She was a junior in college.
I have also walked away from a girl at a 4th of July party after she asked me why we even celebrate the 4th of July. Like she couldn't even deduce from the name of the holiday Independence Day what it meant.
Idk how anyone can stick around that level of retard for 10 months. I agree that op wasted his and the girl's time.

My advice would be to just spend less time with her and when you do it's just to bang. Make it all about you and just blow in her mouth/face every time until she gets tired of it. Treat her badly so she'll dump you and then you won't have to feel bad.
