I'm not saying there should be no war. I'm saying if you support war, you should grow a nutsack and stop crying about chit like this because you're indirectly responsible for much worse.

No. You are fallaciously characterizing my argument. I am not saying torturing the hamster is right. I am saying if you support atrocities worse than this being done to humans, and human life is to be valued more than animal life, and you also do not support atrocities like this being done to animals, this leads to a contradiction. You winked in a condescending manner. If someone winks at me IRL after talking down to me, I will 100% take that as an insult. When I edit my posts, it's to add new information or fix errors. I'm not doing it "sneakily". I also was not virtue signaling. I am saying you guys (perhaps not you specifically, but some of the people ITT, including the OP) are virtue signaling with your fake outrage.

I'm saying you can't hold these three beliefs simultaneously without being a hypocrite.

1) You support animal rights and are morally outraged and deeply emotionally affected when you see a hamster suffer.
2) You believe human life is more important than animal life, in general.
3) You support the suffering of humans indirectly by supporting policies that result in human suffering and death, perhaps through war, exploitation, or other means.

Another poster brought up eating meat I think at some point. That's another great point. Plenty of animals suffer severely so we can eat meat. Yet many of those outraged by this video consume meat. It's a funny perspective to hold.

Personally, I eat meat. And consistently with that POV, I do not cry over such videos, though as one user pointed out, I do feel someone who does this type of thing is needlessly cruel and perhaps mentally ill.

As someone who had numerous hamsters as a child, I can't watch these videos, especially with how you described them. Hopefully, you brahs are successful at getting this cretin banned. Hamsters are innocent little creatures and are really fun pets to have, but we need to treat them with dignity and respect just like any other creature on this planet.
