My srs advice would be to leave the issue alone and stop reacting to getting chit for having long hair. The less you react to it the less they will give you crap for it. Eventually they will get bored and drop it all together.

Find a way to retort to any sort of ribbing that comes off like it doesn't bother you...say something along the lines of them having hair envy and going bald. Idk. I think you are being a little uptight about this. Going to HR will create a very awkward atmosphere for you.

because i already get comments from the general manager and department manager like "do you need some clippers? i have some you can borrow." "someone needs a haircut" etc.

The team im on manges 4 vendors/products. i manage 2/4 my colleague manages 2/4 my boss manages all 4 with us.

this project i was assisting on while my colleague was sick with pneumonia the last 1.5 weeks. I was filling in for him. I have access to the document but I wont be in this meeting because its not one of the projects i work on. me and my colleague are close af and both despise our boss.
